While working on a film crew at the hotel, the entire Burger Theory staff went above and beyond to make our time as productive as possible. They were super friendly and accommodating with the use of their space throughout the shoot.
Emily was the MVP. And special thanks to Katrina, Azalea, and Kaitlyn as well.
On top of that, the food was great! I’ll definitely be back for the spicy chicken sandwich & fries!
Great variety of really delicious burgers, good onion rings, full bar. competent, friendly, attentive wait staff. Terrific view of The River.

Burger Theory Owensboro is a restaurant located in a hotel, offering convenient dining for guests. The service is generally good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The Angry Pig burger, featuring bacon, cheese, jalapeño, onion rings, and more, is a juicy and hot favorite. The Farm Fresh Burger, with boursin cheese, grilled onion, and mushroom, also has thick and juicy patties. Visitors often enjoy the great views of the river from the patio and find the hospitality to be excellent. Many customers say the food is very good, especially the burgers and fries, and describe the restaurant as a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making guests feel welcome whether they are there for a casual meal or working on a project. While some have mentioned long wait times and small portions of fries, overall, the restaurant receives positive feedback. It is not open for lunch and is closed on Sunday nights. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with spacious tables and a water view. Despite some issues, it consistently earns high praise for its nice atmosphere and tasty food.
