City Walk of Owensboro Reviews
Our church senior's group enjoyed a great lunch at City Walk yesterday. I loved the perfectly fried catfish, creamy real mashed potatoes, southern style green beans and a side of strawberry cobbler. Many in our group of 18 ordered the Beef Manhattan and gave it a great review. Our servers were friendly, timely and provided exactly what we requested with smiles!
we never ate here so we wanted to try it out. from the moment we walked in the door, it was an amazing experience. The service was amazing, all the staff were so friendly. The food was amazing. I had the filet, it was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions were perfect for us. I felt like I was leaving a family gathering, every staff member told us to have a good day. The service alone made me decided I'd definitely be returned, but the food sealed the deal.
Our first visit (4/26/25)to CW was great! The staff were all very pleasant and the Catfish was wonderful! We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone who is wanting to try but, hasn’t!

City Walk in Owensboro is a gem worth visiting! The filet and salmon were perfect, with the Mac and cheese highly recommended. The restaurant gets busy quickly, so arriving early is advised. Prices are around $20 per person, with decent portion sizes. The Chicken tenders and HotBrown were good, but the meatloaf was not a favorite. The bar is a good option if there is a wait for a table, and reservations may be a good idea due to the small size of the restaurant. Guests consistently praise the friendly and attentive staff, who make visitors feel welcome from the moment they walk in. The service is fast and friendly, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. Many visitors find the fillet to be the best in town—cooked perfectly, tender, and flavorful, often served with sweet mashed potatoes that are described as delicious. Overall, the food and service make City Walk a favorite spot for many, and securing a reservation is recommended to ensure a good spot.
