“What do you get when Applebee's and Cracker Barrel collide? You get Windy Hollow Restaurant. At least as far as the decor is concerned; the food is in a league all of it's own. This is country cooking at it's finest. The baked apples had the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar and quite literally melted in my mouth. The sausage patties were fork tender and flavorful. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places and have never had sausage like this! And then there were the chicken tenders. I'm not normally a fan because of heavy breading and little chicken, but these were the opposite of what I thought they were going to be. These tenders were lightly breaded large pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Last, but not least, there was the coffee. This coffee was so good that it didn't need anything added to it to make it drinkable. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and how they kept the buffet tables clean and well stocked. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side, and very popular, so it can be a bit crowded. Don't let that be a deterrent, though. The food is worth it!“

“Had an excellent experience at Colby's deli and cafe! Called at 8:30 am, and they had a 12-person order ready by 11. The staff, especially Collin, were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. The chicken salad is hands down the best I've ever had! Huge thanks to Collin and the entire team at Colby's deli!“

“Stopped at this cute little place when on the way home from camping at diamond lake. We had a white chocolate mocha coffee, breakfast casserole, and of course some baked goods to go! I love the quaintness. It was very decorated up for Easter they even had 2 cute bunny’s outside. The staff were friendly and knew a lot about the history of the place. It is most definitely worth a visit. My kiddos loved it too.“

“For my birthday a few days ago, my husband took me to a couple of different donut places this one is by far the best donuts, the best atmosphere, and wonderful people there. Even just the people that were already there eating said hello and Good morning. This was by far one of the best places not only in Owensboro but the surrounding areas as well. My favorite donuts was the bourbon one and the caramel one that was kind of toasted on the top (I can’t remember the actual name)“
