“This was the first time I had ever had a firehouse sub, now I can only review this as the person that recieved the sandwich. I didn't go to the shop but I was told by the person that did pick up the order, they particularly enjoyed that the store promotes donations for first responders. What I can talk about was this amazing sandwich, as someone that loves subs and has eaten my fair share of them, I definitely know what I like. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch on wheat. The first thing I noticed was it was packaged well and when I opened the container it wasn't a mess to pick up, I noticed the even bread to other ingredient ratio, how the sandwich bread was heated but not soggy or tough and how the sandwich was warm but not so hot that my cold ingredients were limp and warm. I noticed how the ingredients were evenly placed, the ranch was not overpowering and my bacon wasn't too limp. I can't say I know if this is a marvelous consistency across the board for them but my partner was equally pleased with his brisket. All I know is, bravo firehouse, that's how you make a first impression.Parking: Easy to locate the store and parking.“
“Nothing too special about finding a Subway, but inside a hospital (Lourdes, Mercy health)? Very pleasant surprise, we have to commute from over an hour away. This means we are often early (my fault I dread being late or caught in traffic) and having a nice place to dine is a definite bonus“
“great food.. it just takes FOREVER ( 15min) to get your food and i only get a 30min lunch.its hard to hear that big kid with his mask on...seriously i had to ask him to repeat his self several times. i really wanted to rip that damn mask off his face and go somewhere else for lunch.“
“1/22/24-Just came through and ordered two subs, they were made picture perfect. The two ladies who took care of me were super friendly and helpful, and even went above and beyond for me I felt with my extra requests, no arguing or being rude just great service! Will be coming back for more delicious sandwiches soon.“
“Thank you Ryan! Ryan was the absolute sweetest and gave my friend a water and cookie! Very clean and good food. In honor of Ryan, " You just got to remember there are kind people and people do nice things. Keep the cookie go be kind!" Thank you Paducah thank goodness we didn't go to Waffle House after dark.“
“This place is amazing ? It’s so cozy inside, there’s even a sofa and fireplace! ?My sub was made-to order and wrapped so well and they wrote what was actually in it not just a number. Very friendly staff. I’m from out of state, so I don’t know if/when I’ll be back in the area, but I’d definitely eat here again (especially if they were doing the in-app deals)“
“First time here! Stopped in to take advantage of a $4.99 sandwich special. Had the cheesesteak and fries. I walked in right after a crowd of people so I had a little bit of a wait which was sooo worth it! The fries were fresh cut fries -these alone was worth the wait !!!! The sandwich was so delicious and so much better than the sandwich shops I have been going to. The small size sandwich was perfect for me. I had a chance to observe several of the sandwiches being made before mine and I know what sandwiches I want to try in future visits. The manager apologized for my wait which was no big deal and packed a fresh made chocolate chip cookie in my bag! I am so hooked on Penn Station-I can’t wait to take my husband to lunch there.Vegetarian options: All the veggies look freshParking: Plenty of parking“
“First time trying CSC and didn't know anything about the menu, but the gentleman who helped me explained everything with perfect patience that I really appreciated. I had the Chicken Salad Melt with the zesty Susan I believe it was called and a cup of Tomato Bisque.. Both were spectacular. I will be going there again and have already recommended it to several people. It was the perfect 10 dollar meal IMO.“
