“This Sunday, took the drive from Floyd county, down to Paintsville , my sister and I have talked all evening of the outstanding service we received and the food was hot and delicious, the waiter and waitress worked as a team, would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, thanks to the chef and owner for a wonderful experience!!“

“I ordered a meal that included pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and fries. The pulled pork was the best of the three. The pork was very good and tasty. The chicken and brisket was still good, but just a bit dry. The fries here are much better than standard fries from a freezer bag. They were somewhat greasy but still tasty and worth getting. There are different sauces already available at your table for you to try.

My food was delivered to my table quickly, with little wait. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Drink refills did not take long to get either. The drink cups are a bit small. Food portions are pretty good for what you pay. The food prices here are still manageable, considering what you get.

The restaurant decor is nice and inviting. Dining in options are a bit limited. Tables could fill up quickly, depending on when you arrive. There are tables upstairs and downstairs. If you have mobility issues, then eating upstairs will be too difficult to access. The bathrooms seem to be kept up. Noise levels inside are tolerable and shouldn't be a problem for most.

I would eat here again if the opportunity becomes present. If you are in Prestonsburg and like BBQ, then give Pig in a Poke a try.“
