“My wife and I are up her while she works as a travel nurse. We are from South Carolina and we have a favorite place to get a calzone. “I never write reviews, because a lot of places fail to exceed expectations. But The Oven? They blew my expectations out of the water, slathered ‘em in pizza sauce and cheese and the some of the freshest toppings, and served them back to me with a smile. When I tell you my taste buds did the happy dance, I’m not even exaggerating. The crust was crispy on the outside, but like a soft pillow on the inside. The toppings are locked onto the pizza by a blanket of cheese, ensuring that you won’t have a mess on your plate after you get done with it. And the service was top-tier excellence. I cannot wait to try their sub sandwiches (I’m a sucker for a good stromboli) and especially their buffet bar. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I very highly recommend giving this local pizzeria a try. No matter what your flavor is, The Oven has you covered!“

“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.“

“Pizza was made on time. The cheese was very good. I ate one piece and the crust was still soft and fluffy. Not chewy like Papa John's. The staff was very friendly. This is a cash/check place, no debt or credit cards. Was honesty one of the best hometown pizzas I have had.“

“Stopped by for dinner and ordered the magic mushroom soup to start and ordered a small pizza (the one that comes with honey), I replaced the red peppers with mushrooms and the flavors were perfect! Pizza was cooked to perfection. Staff was very kind and attentive. Awesome food! If you’re in the area, stop by for pizza, it won’t disappoint. They also have other items of interest. I found this food better than Don Mario (the Mexican restaurant across the street and Famous Bistro), and I have been to those, not just saying it… you’re been warned lol.
Parking: After 6pm parking is free…. Don’t know about daytime hours, you would need to verify.“

“Im what you would call a renouned Gutter Sucker, i dip my hose in the slot and pull out all the junks.
Anyway so I had a contract to release this junk and slipped and fell 18 stories onto a pile of rocks. Now id normally give 1 star because the roof shouldve had a wet sign, regardless if it was raining, but the manager came right out and wrapped my wounds in dough.
I assisted, and this is the worst part.
Because i began stuffing myself in dough i was forced to join the Union. I've tried to get fired so i can be free, but dang it does this union rep love his little minions!

“Their pizza rolls are amazing. They're not Totino's. A half is a meal, go full if you missed a meal. The pizza rolls are priced great. I've e had their pizza, stromboli, and club. The pizza and strom are good, but I found the club to be less than average.“

“I have to give the manager of this location some props. I think her name is Crystal? Regardless of terrible employees or just being short handed, she really cares. She makes up for mistakes that aren't her own and just all around kicks a$$. I hope she can get employees that even give 10% that she does.“

“Hey... it's papa johns pizza, not some mom and pop pizzeria. You know what your getting, for the most part.. every time. Service is always convenient, timely, and unlike alot of services they maintain the belief that the customer is always right. So don't call with a mouth you wouldn't kiss your momma with, and enjoy the improvements of service due to an excellent area supervisor. Serving henderson, Owensboro, and Evansville.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, and can always serve lactose intolerance, many orders exclude cheese and other dairy.“

“Ordered twice in the last month. Both times they have left out my cheese and garlic sauce. I mean if we didn't pay for the sauces it wouldn't be a big deal but it's ridiculous paying for something and not getting it. Not just once but multiple times at the same location. At least the pizza was decent the first time. The second time not so much. Literally the WORST pizza I've gotten anywhere. What a waste of money. Just save yourself some time and money by going elsewhere. It was so bad my dog spit it out.“

“I really liked this place. The lunch options were good, and it never seems to be too busy so the service is fast. Facilities are clean and seem to be well kept. The sandwiches and fresh cut fries were also good. I reccomend for a good quick lunch anyday.“

“Really delicious pizza and although the wings are small... they are incredible! We've been there several times and the wait staff do an exceptional job even when the restaurant is packed. Special thanks to Clint for always being entertaining while also making sure we have everything we need!“
