“Harrods Creek Tavern is one of those gems that just feels perfect. It has that welcoming vibe where everyone seems to know everyone, almost like stepping into an episode of Cheers. The atmosphere and staff is laid-back and friendly, and they’ve even got slots inside if you’re feeling lucky.
The food is fantastic. My wife ordered the potato salad and a grilled chicken sandwich; both were excellent, especially the potato salad. I went with the fried bologna sandwich, and it was absolutely awesome. Great portions, great flavor, and exactly what you want from a spot like this.
Whether you drive in or pull your boat right up to their dock, Harrods Creek Tavern is worth the trip. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.“

“One of the beds burgers in Louisville. Really good crispy fries. Atmosphere is laid back and then some. Service was friendly but could have been a little more attentive. Minor complaint. It’s a great place to go for a burger and a beer. I will return.“

“I went here for the first time tonight and not only was the food great and reasonably priced...the staff was amazing!! I actually left my phone at the table and didn't realize until about a hour later. When I got there they had put it away for me in a safe place. I was SO thankful and bc of their kindness I wanted to write this review. I enjoyed my Philly and the environment is great. Thank you both for helping tonight. The server and bartender were amazing.“

“Traveled from Wisconsin to see fight from within here. It was a fun local venue and everyone was very nice. Not a lot of space to get too crazy during the show, but just enough. We had a great time! 5/5 - 10/10 would definitely go back!“

“This is in my neighborhood, but I don't go here too often. I had lunch today. Sorry, I forgot to snap a picture. Order the Breakfast Burger with confidence! It's a burger with bacon, an egg, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo! And it's delicious. The server Tony was fantastic. I'll be back sooner than later.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Nic & Norman’s! Our waitress, Z, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was just as great. The meatloaf was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the classic burger was delicious and juicy. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! We’ll definitely be back.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I will for sure be back to try all of the other restaurants.“

“We were planning to go to another restaurant in the same parking lot. We choose The Shed, based on the number of cars in the parking lot. That referral did not disappoint! We had the Beer Cheese Burger and Fries. So GOOD we went back the next day for the same meal! Great Sports Bar vibe without being too noisy.“

“upon entry 2 staff members behind the bar and a female staff member at the entry to kitchen behind a wall chatting it up on her phone. People were observed leaving due to no service. after 10 minutes I asked for a bar towel to clean a table so my party and I could sit down. food was mediocre at best and our pretzel bites allegedly weren't even written down. we did get the pretzel bites after our meals were served and someone please tell me why the hell we couldn't get a rootbeer served when it's on the menu?! guy said he couldn't serve it where we were sitting. Not sure any of them had a bit of ambition as they were very snail like. 🙄 I encourage you to keep walking, don't let the loud music lure you in!“

“The staff is amazing! Tanya is the kindest and most efficient bartender I have ever met. Not to take away from the other staff! The other bartenders, cooks, servers and support staff are awesome as well! The food is just as great as I remember from the 1970's, 80's and 90's! I LOVE to visit Check's every time I come back home!“

“Everything was perfect! Every time I come! KP and KENZIE are absolutely amazing servers. Best of the best! The only blemish on this location is Tommy. The bartender/server. Horrible attitude!!! And it seems like each time I’ve interacted with him, he seems to have been drinking. Very unprofessional. Other than him, I love this place.“
