Everything is beautifully decorated for the holiday season! The staff are friendly and attentive. We just cannot say enough great things about Chenault Vineyards. We plan to continue this tradition year after year! I have also been to several other parties at Chenault Vineyards in my personal life and they have all been fantastic! Chenault Vineyards should be on your list of things to try!”

The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual but the food and drinks are good. There isn’t that much seating and the entire time we were eating almost every table was full. The salsa bar was a good experience and when they say spicy they actually mean it with the salsa options.”

This might out rate the Golden Corral in Lexington if this keeps up.”

“I entered the restaurant at about 8:00 pm . I ordered grilled tilapia and scallops! It was cooked to perfection with the rich flavors just right! I said my prayers before I started my meal! The waiter and the staff noticed! I ate my meal with great satisfaction. The meal was awesome. When I finished my waiter came and sat with me and we spoke of God and our walks of life with God! We visited for about 30 minutes when we got ready to call it a night. The waiter told me he would cover my meal and walked away to the kitchen with my tableware. I said another prayer for my blessings that I had been given that night! When I was leaving, the restaurant my waiter came and shook my hand with a hug, his boss and all of the other staff shook my hand and gave big hugs! God is great! These people are filled with the great work of the lord!”

“Comfort. The ultimate comfort food must be Italian! Olive Garden does a consistent job on Italian favorites so you can rely on them when you need it. Eggplant parmigiana and pasta with their glorious breadsticks and a salad was my comfort food of choice but I could have picked anything on the menu and had success. I think my favorite thing was the eggplant parmigiana-so good.”

“I'd like to start this review off by being g totally transparent here. This isn't the biggest place, neither is it the quickest place. However, what it is is something by itself, completely making it a truly unique experience to be had by all.

John, the owner, is an interesting cat with his approach as the proprietor, cook, bartender, prep cook, and short order cook. There is only one thing he makes, and that's hamburgers. The varieties available that day are listed on the blackboard on the wall to your right when you walk in.

The drinks available are on a blackboard on the wall to your left, and these are limited to a few domestics. Soft drinks are limited to bottled water or Ale eight one. Order placement is limited to your seating, which is limited to 12 stools at the counter. Orders are taken beginning at the left end of the counter, moving to the right, one order at a time, one burger completion at a time.

Be forwarned that this isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry! The decor is somewhere between dive bar and Americana diner with stickers from all over the country on the walls and ceiling. There's an old BMX from hanging from the ceiling to the extreme left ceiling, as well as a couple of vintage skateboard decks and motor cycle parts to round out the decor.

The structure itself is an old diner car circa in the 1950s housing this curiously eclectic collection. There are a few stools against the left back wall where you can sit while you wait for the counter stools to become available.

When we entered, the proprietor was playing some really great stoner metal from the band Sleep that wasn't overly loud but added yet another touch to the already unique experience. We were a party of five, all having a great time in this intimate place, enjoying each other company and that of the owner John.

John's hamburgers are started out as balls of ground beef that are flattened out on a griddle that is limited in size, yet adequate to include the strips of bacon for your order.

If needed, there are a few tables outside to sit once you've received your order. Hours of operation are limited, and John closes once he's sold out. Check hours in advance on John's Winks Facebook page for specials and hours.

A really cool experience with a local business owner, the type that needs your help to thrive to keep our downtowns alive.

“Ok it has been a while since I have eaten here, at least a year or more. back then the food quality and customer service had declined dramatically and my family no longer wanted to eat here. I came in today for the first time and found an entirely different experience. I was immediately greated by Josh who is definitely an asset to the restaurant. He was friendly and attentive. The rest of the staff treated me in the same manner as I was checked on and served by multiple people. The one and only aspect of the experience that concerned me was the kiosk. I don't appreciate being asked for a tip before before my dining experience. it's a massive turn off that projects an image of entitlement. I tend to tip based on my experience and when it's good I have no issues with tipping 50% I'm going to go out on a ledge and get the Tip I was prompted to give when I order is divided amongst the staff equally as I was not attend by just one person. if this is the case then I think some points where missed in experience planning. I would propose having people order at the kiosk and get a ticket but not pay at this time. but instead have the ability to go back to the kiosk and possibly order that missed milk shake or burger for the road, or if they are simply done use the ticket to settle their bill and leave a tip based on their experience. I would think this would lead to bigger tips, especially if you point out that it is a shared tip system. Also encourage and reward people for new reviews. let the community see this is not the same S&S . Thanks again Josh!”

“Today we decided to try a new restaurant just outside of Richmond that I had heard rave reviews over. Dos Hermanos is located in the same building as the BP Station, but don't let this fool you at all. This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Very clean inside and the food was better than everyone had described. I had the Dos Hermanos Special which included a grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, special seasoned grilled shrimp on a generous bed of rice with California vegetables. This meal was only $14.99 and was a huge serving. The steak is thin, but very tender and full of flavor. The chicken breast was seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the highlight of the dish without a doubt were the 6 scrumpdullyishous shrimp. These were absolutely to die for! The dish was topped with queso sauce which made every bite even better. My wife had the shredded chicken chimichanga which came with rice and beans. This dish was only $9.99 and was one of the best chimichangas that she has had in a very long time. There was a very generous serving of chicken inside and the flavor was out of this world! There is a very wide variety on the menu and I cannot wait to go back and try something else -- but it will be very difficult to change from what I ordered today. Don't let the fact that this is in the same building as a gas station prevent you from coming here. There is a separate entrance and it is completely separated from the gas station. Again, very clean, excellent food, fast and friendly service. We will return again and again! Without a doubt, the drive is definitely worth the difference.”

“People always complain when they have a bad experience but people never tell when they have a good experience. I am here to tell my good experience! Today was a bad day for me, on my way home from working all day I wanted to grab dinner so I didn’t have to cook and pasta sounded good to me so I walked into Fazolis. At first there was a teenage boy who waited on me but my question prompted him to go get a manager, that is when a lady with the best eyeliner I’ve ever seen and several piercings walked up to help me. She was so helpful, answered all my questions, applied a discount to my order from the app and listened to me talk about how hard I worked today and I really appreciated all of that. After my experience with her I will make sure to eat at Fazolis more. I hope a higher up sees this bc she really deserves a “job well done” I was happier walking out then I was walking in and that just doesn’t happen often in this world so thank you nice lady manager at Fazolis! You made my bad day a little better 🙂 P.S. My family meal tasted amazing too!”

“OMG are these the best donuts that I have ever had in my entire life. My husband is on his route in Kentucky and brings these donuts home to the family we can't get enough .They are absolutely amazing we love them ,the kids love them, they are so good. They must have a pastry chef on site who's making these donuts because they are so amazing. But that's not the only thing ! They also have meals at this place that are beyond amazing. My husband got a lunch there and brought some home to me. I had some of their Mac and cheese that was so creamy so cheesy and so flavorful it was unbelievably good!!! We live in Tennessee he has a route in Kentucky we have actually talked about going up there on the weekend just to get a meal and some donuts. Now you know a place is good with gas prices as high as they are that you're gonna travel that far to get some food. If you're in the area , if you're not in the area..... you're gotta go to Richmond KY and get yourself to Doughdaddy's on Moberly Rd. I promise you you won't regret it they're amazing and I also heard they are very nice and a great staff I can't wait to meet them! Anytime my husband has a route in that area he stops in. “We came out with a couple of friends to celebrate my birthday a couple of weeks ago! It was quite fun, the staff all around were amazing. The bartenders all have great personalities and interact with you in a fun manner.
The live entertainment that night was amazing and even though one of my friends told them a lie that I was 40 and I had to say I was definitely NOT 40, they were playful with it before singing a cover of The Beatles "Birthday". It put a big smile on my face.
We had a lot of fun playing cornhole and throwing darts. It was a well-rounded, shenanigan filled night out at a great bar! We will definitely be back.”
