Tex-Mex Restaurants in Richmond

“My husband said, “Maybe we should start coming to Richmond for Mexican..” First time in and likely not last, but we do live in Lexington. Not busy for Friday night (7:30-8:40pm). Nancy was great and gave helpful and good advice for deciding which plate to go with- I was torn between the shrimp chimichanga, birria tacos, or queso birria tacos (the latter over regular was the inside tip)! I selected the shrimp chimichanga and it was really good! Lots of shrimp and perfectly cooked fajita veggies. Mucho Chimi Combo plate was good, too, but some of the selected fillings (you get a choice for all 3) were wrong, but still good! Great relleno. Can you believe $3.99 margaritas on Friday night?!?! They were mixed well. Maybe not fresh lime juice, but they tasted great and had plenty of alcohol. We’ll be in Richmond a bit more now and again and will make this a regular stop!“
