“I just want to give a shout out to Paula and her staff! They do our Wednesday night meals @forksofelkhornpastist. They do such a great job, always good food. This last one, our Holiday Meal last night (for Thanksgiving and Christmas), was also delicious! Her stuffing/dressing is awesome. So, if you are thinking of ordering from them, you won't be disappointed. The BEST thing - the 7 layer salad! I had it for "dessert" last night, even though they have great desserts as well.”

“I'm really particular about eating authentic Mexican food and Lichos is my go to for deliciously prepared Mexico meals. The servings are very generous and the meats are flavorful and each has a wonderful flavor profile. I have not tried anything on the menu that I did not enjoy. My only criticism is that they don't have green Chile rellenos”

“Swung by this bar after a few distilleries on our way to Lexington. Great bourbon selection, comfortable seating, friendly bartender(Trent I believe), had good conversions with both tourists/locals, and was able to buy a bottle of bourbon at the bar, which we can’t do back home.

“Today was the first time I’d been back in my hometown in Harrodsburg to see an old friend. The food was great as always but the service was not good. We got there about 7:45 and around 8 there was a massive group of ball players and family’s came in. I understand that they got slammed and didn’t have enough help but we waited over an hour to have refills I ended up going in and asking for our waiter to come out cause we wanted to go orders and drinks another 10 mins goes by and nothing we decided to just leave with paying for what we had got. I hope next time is a better experience.”

The food is always awesome, everyone on staff is very friendly and they remember their customers and their food preferences, which makes for an awesome overall meal and atmosphere. Type of place that can efficiently and easily handle a large group or provide an exceptional solo experience.La Isla is very much a community gathering place, which is also cool. We’ve been coming here since my kids were babies and we are gonna keep coming back! Eddie and the crew do a great job!

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.”
