“Excellent menu... in today's expensive inflationary trend. Not only an outstanding menu but great value. First visit this past Sunday as tried several things on the menu with an extra meal to go. “I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions over several years. I live in England and make trips to La Grange each year if I can and my friends there always take me to Gustavos. I'm particularly partial to the Yucatan Fish. I had it this past Sunday and had every intention of taking some away with me. It didn't happen because I couldn't help myself and left a clean plate. I have never been disappointed with a meal there and have no hesitation in recommending it.“

“We have dined here two times in the past couple of months while in the area for a dog event. Julia was our server/bartender both times. Since we have never been to a Cattleman's before, we asked her for recommendations. The prime rib sandwich was excellent on our first visit. Last night we asked about the ribs and pot roast. Julia said they were both good. The ribs were some of the BEST I have ever had anywhere. The pot roast was ordered without carrots and the gravy on the side. It came out perfect and was excellent. We had hotel issues on our first visit and between Julia and another employee, they helped us out with that also. I spoke with a manager yesterday to mention Julia's help and service. I would highly recommend Cattleman's.“

“The pizza was delicious as usual. Last time we ate in and I ordered a chef salad and it was really good. Tonight I order the same thing - however the salad was disappointing 10.99 got me two pieces of ham and 2 pieces of turkey, not cut up but looks like it was torn apart by someone’s hand. There was 1/4 of and egg 6 pieces of tomato, there was plenty of lettuce and cheese. Just disappointed that I paid so much for so little“
