“Peach cobber was great ! ALWAYS good food! I had never been in there at noon before and everything stopped and we stood for the National Anthem. I Do wish I would have waited to order until it was over, because I had just sat down not even a bite then stood up , by the time it was over my food was already cold. Please don't misunderstand I agree with it.My father is a veteran.I just would have preferred to eat my lunch hot. And I can't think of anybody else.Who does that so I was surprised. But again everything is good!!!“

“Their salads are amazing! Every one I've gotten has been perfect. The last time I got the Far East Crunch Salad with salmon. Sooo good. This time I made my own and it's delicious. Also the kids working, Chase and Leilani, were so nice and patient while I took forever to pick my toppings lol.“

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, drinks stayed filled, was very quick to bring any sauces, check how's the meal. “Burger and Fries joint. Higher quality than fast your everyday fast food gurus. Burgers come with double patties. Fries are very good. Burgers are good but lack a little flavor. Maybe need more seasoning or sauce…idk. Was full, so didn’t get to try the shakes! But they look marvelous. Next time…“

“The salmon in the Sunset Roll was great quality, so fresh it melted in my mouth. The entire roll was absolutely refreshing and just what I needed. The ‘Heart Attack’ looked like a fun thing to order on the menu and was a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. I would say it is more like their spin on a jalapeño popper, however, made with green peppers and MUCH better... completely worth the extra deep fried calories. It was quite busy but our wait time was only a couple of minutes.We had a fantastic waitress "Taylor", who kept our glasses full and was there to bring us anything we needed. “I used the online wait list to get my name on the list and even on a Sunday morning, me and my partner were able to be sat very quickly. Our server Mallory was very sweet and attentive, we were able to sit and visit while she still took care of everything we needed quickly. Food, as always, was fantastic. They need a few more servers because they were stretched thin, but I also went for lunch on the day of Thunder so that may have played a role in it as well.Kid-friendliness: My son got the Giant Pepperoni slice at fairly cheap and they offered a "kids cut" which made it much more manageable for him instead of just a large slice or cutting it up ourselves.“

“So happy to see Maira opened back up on the East end. I was a long time customer at their University location. Same menu, and same fresh food as before. The food is as bright and beautiful as it looks. Portions are generous; I ate 1/4 of the vegetarian platter and half of my Greek salad mounded with chicken, and was stuffed. “A really great coffee shop, with a great friendly staff, tasty food options, and delicious coffee. Their seating is quirky and fun, and there's a decent amount for a pretty small space. It'd be one of my absolute favorite spots in town and a five star spot no question, but MY GOD do they need to fix whatever the heck it is that makes that horrid, piercing feedback noise in the back room every couple minutes. It feels like a drillbit of sound burrowing into my brain through my ear and it absolutely ruins the atmosphere for me.“

“So finding Taqueria La Güera was meant to be. I vividly remember find this taco spot late at night and it was one of their first days open. It was my birthday and I had to work late, the main taco truck I used to frequent wasn’t there for the night, I tried 2 more back up spots and sadly they weren’t there. I had given up almost all hope when on my way back home resigned that for my birthday I wouldn’t get any carne asada tacos which I was craving. I decided to take a different route since I had previously noticed that the stand had changed at this location. I drove by and saw light on, I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot. And from that moment on…after tasting the delicious Carne Asada, fresh avocado, crisp onions La Güera has become by go to spot, I visit 1-2 times a week now. I’ve had everything from the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, empanadas and even the hot dog (which surprisingly hits the spot too). There are times when I’ve eaten dinner and my wife didn’t and she will send me out to get chicken tacos. Absolutely the best in town, and I will keep coming back as long as they are open!“

The workers are always very friendly and very easy to talk to, and very understanding whenever it takes my phone a while to pull up the app or I make a mistake. “Tried out this resturant today on a whim. We were on google and came across this place. I looked at the reviews of both locations but came to this one because of the newest good consistent reviews. We were seated immediately and within 3 minutes ordered and recieved our drinks. With it being our first time the waitress was very patient and not pushy. We ordered some gyoza for an appetizer and it was so flavorful and the sauce was very good as well. Only thing i could wish for was that there were 6 instead of 4 in the order. For our main dishes I got the crunch roll and the spicy garlic ramen with char sui pork. The sushi was the best sushi i have had in a long time. Last time i had good sushi was back home in Hawaii in 2017. The ramen was very delicious as well. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were cooked to perfection. Wish i had both if the eggs instead of one half but that was fine. Only thing i would have done was ask for an extra egg and extra broth. The other thing we ordered was the hibachi combination of chicken and steak with fried rice. The meat was so tender and flavorful. We were also pleased with the yum yum sauce that we ordered a container to go which was $5. The atmosphere was calm with simple decor. We will definitely be back.“

“I live in Louisville. I've sorely missed tamales, pozole, breakfast tacos, etc. pretty much anything Mexican since I left Austin, TX. I asked woman I ASSumed who is Mexican if she knew where I can find some tamales and she recommended this place. I made a plan to visit this place this weekend. We walked into this magical Mexican grocer which has all the secrets to Mexican cooking and culture. What was more exciting I knew we wasn't supposed to be there cause we got the looks black folks give white folks when they invade our spaces. This is when I knew I hit the jackpot!
