“Coming thru from Cleveland, Ohio it's was well worth the stop! We sampled pretty much everything, and it was all very good! Bacon wrapped Hotdogs as a special were a hit, Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw as sides didn't last with the kids. Brisket, pull pork and ribs all great as well! Washed down with some raspberry lemonade with a splash of sweat tea!”
“The best Fish-dish I've had in some time, John Dorey... the entire always makes it a great night. They're truly the best in the greater Lexington Area! Blessing to have this great restaurant here...”
“Mmmmm…. If you know me, you know I own 14 pizza restaurants. When my wife and I want a GREAT BURGER, I’ll stop by Chik Inn in Georgetown on my way home for the best burger in Georgetown. Yes, it’s a food trailer but these guys, Jake and Jaleen running it at night can cook! IL❤️VE the Mashroom burger! So good! I highly recommend it! Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from, surely not while these guys are cooking! I get it 1-2x weekly and have never been dissapointed!”
“Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!”
“The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.”
“Don Jockey is such a cultural and gastronomical contribution to a town like Midway. They are true ambassadors of Mexican hospitality and cuisine. The owner, Jorge, works side by side with the staff, delivering a welcoming and personalized experience. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich and the Carne Asada are a must-have!"”
“We stopped here after visiting a few distilleries in the area and we certainly were NOT disappointed! We ordered the pimento cheese and bacon jam grilled cheese with a side of asparagus and the blackened catfish with grits and greens. Every single piece of that meal was spectacular. We couldn’t stop talking about the food after we left.Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our group with two babies.I highly recommend making a reservation so you can skip the wait. The place is pretty small.Overall such a great experience and would recommend to anyone and everyone!”
“Stopped with my friends for lunch yesterday. The place is adorable, with an inviting atmosphere and cute decor. Despite the name, they had way more than just desserts. I chose the KY Hot Brown Sandwich and it was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend!!!”
“I would just like to say thank you for offering a free meal for Veterans tonight. It was my first time eating there and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. I love the atmosphere, inside upstairs or downstairs, outside courtyard or pavilion, there's a place for anyone to feel comfortable. Thanks again!”
“I am extremely upset I haven't been here before. This place is amazing! They have some great dishes but even the simple things like biscuits and gravy are done at a high level. Their waffles will knock your socks. We went in at 1015 on the weekend and it was a very calm vibe.”
“Fantasic diner!! They seasoned the food!! Loved the country boy's favorite breakfast with a fried pork tederloin, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit with gravy!!”
“Was passing through on a road trip and wanted to give this place a try since my crew love mexican dishes. It was a win-win. It was a bit more expensive than normally spending for the same dishes, but the food was actually flavorful and good:) Family of 5 and everyone ate well. The staff was friendly and everything was clean. Would highly recommend giving this location a try. We will stop when in the area again!Vegetarian options: They have a section for vegetarian dishes. Hard to find when searching at other restaurants.”
“3/13/24 This is the second time we've been here this month. I've driven past this place almost everyday for the past couple of years and we never stopped.I'm glad that changed, don't speak Spanish? That's ok, they're bilingual here! Order your food when you walk in at the counter they'll bring it to your table. They serve beer and the good glass bottle cokes (no fructose pure sugar baby!). I personally recommend the Birria Quesatacos. The chips are made in house and their salsa and guacamole are very very good.It does get busy here so get in and get your grub on while you can. This place has got to be a top contender for one of the best places to eat in Georgetown. The photos I included in my review are theRegular Sized Chicken Street TacosAandQuesatacos Birria”
“I had some good beer and pizza. This place has the best pizza and beer in town. The wings are excellent and the fire roasted pizza is the best. I would show a picture of the food, but we ate it all. lol.”
“A few weeks ago when I was in there with my wife the girl behind the counter asked "Aren't you the guy who asked about Santa's cookies(like a month prior)?" To which I unashamedly said yes and she told me when . Not only is the ice cream great, but the workers are friendly. The only touch I would add is it needs some light music..it can get awkwardly silent in there at times.”
“Georgetown has some pretentious foodies, but that aside, service was great for the post-pandemic era and exceeded those lowered standards. Yes, onion rings are bland and the American fare lacks much flavor in general (the hamburger is a massive hunk of meat with nothing else going on) but can be remedied with a dash of salt and pepper. Overall a great experience.”
“We go there for work lunch often. Always great service and food.Just had their steakhouse deluxe today and as someone that always prefer to cook my own steak, I was very impressed. Great quality meat, cooked perfectly medium rare, seasoning on point too.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and vegan optionsKid-friendliness: It's a family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available”
“Best authentic Mexican restaurant in Georgetown. The margaritas are delicious, but the food is amazing! I come here every time I'm in Georgetown. If you're craving Mexican food this is the place to go.”
“Everything was delicious! The staff was helpful and friendly! The prices were so cheap. It has a true family feel. This restaurant is GEM! Places like this are getting harder and harder to find.”
“It's always amazing food and the people there are always so nice and friendly, I 100% recommend this place if you want amazing food for a decent price and fairly quick, not only is the quality and service amazing but the amount of food you can get for less than $15 is astonishing, 10/10 would ”
“Charming coffee shop on main stop in Midway. Cozy exposed brick walls and a fireplace! I had a Chai and it was delicious! Definitely a recommended stop if you’re in Midway!”
“You have to look through the menu the food is so so, for the price it's good. They feed a lot of people I am picky about my food. Some of their food is under seasoned and some of it is really over seasoned. Like I explained you get what you pay for.”
“Walked this afternoon from our house. This was our first visit and thought a bit of exercise would be a good start. We were delighted. I had a cup of Mango and my husband had a mango shake. We were both pleased and will be back!”
“With how simple my drink is. This location makes it the best. You can tell they care a little more than all the other locations I’ve been to. Place has a great vibe to it and all the workers are the nicest I’ve seen in a Starbucks. Thanks guys keep it up! 10/10 for ”
“Don't take the lower atmosphere rating fool you ... this is still a great place to visit. They're just more of a take out kind of place, with inside seating for about 8. In good weather, you can sit on the patio out back. The food is typically fantastic. I had a ham (country), egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin today. They did not disappoint!Parking: Most parking is in a lot, lower from the entrance and off to the side. They technically have handicap parking, but not sure you'd want to bring a wheelchair.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the sweets, but with limited seating inside and no visible high chairs, maybe not a great place to stop and eat.Dining in could be different with eating outside. There are some old play equipment installations outside from when it was a school.Wheelchair accessibility: Technically yes, but limited, and not without difficulty. The bathroom I think would NOT be wheelchair accessible.”
“Awesome and super local joint. Chill atmosphere and great service and staff. Everyone is super friendly. Great low key joint for the more low key type of person. Got a good bar and great bartender. Shouts out to Michael with karaoke, great singer. Definitely a more personable type of bar for people just trying to be themselves and feel comfortable at home.”
“A coworker recommended this restaurant and I have to admit it is one of my new food obsessions-Absolutely delicious! The heat is customizable and spot on. The staff was very friendly and tried to help guide my selection to find my best fit. I ordered the Fried Wontons and the Pad Woon Sen, spicy. This dish is made with glass noodles which I had never tried before. I'm scooping out my schedule to see when I might need to pass here again! Best Thia food I've had in a while!”
“My absolute favorite donut shop in Georgetown. I love that I can go at 3am after a night out, or 11:30 right before they close, and there will always be a good variety to choose from. Not to mention the owners are AMAZING. Always so so kind with smiles on their faces. Delicious donuts and a great experience every time I go!”
“I found Babes BBQ recently by doing a google search for restaurants in Georgetown! Someone asked me have I ate at a restaurant but she couldn’t remember what it was called so I started naming places and unfortunately it wasn’t Babes but I am glad I stumbled upon your restaurant! The Awesome atmosphere of family style seating or small tables. Service is stellar from ordering your food at the counter to it being ready for you in a timely manner and brought to your table. The staff walked around checking on everyone multiple times and asked if everything was good and if you needed anything. This was an amazing dine in experience and we will be returning in the future!”
“The owner is incredibly nice and so accommodating!! I ordered some cinnamon rolls to go and also told her that I love whoopie pies so if she makes them to save one for me! So she made them and saved two just in case!! ? Best Whoopie Pies EVER!! And they are HUGE!!! Burgers are insanely good and sourced locally! It’s also worth mentioning I drove an hour each way just to pick up these goodies because they are that good. The cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had and the only ones that taste exactly like my grandma’s. So I bought these for my mom’s birthday for her to try and it brought her to tears! She said it’s a carbon copy of her mom’s cinnamon rolls that we haven’t had since she passed years ago! Bless this wonderful Bakery and the owners!! You make miracles!!”
