“Food was good, but the service on the buffet was very lacking. We came especially for the French toast, and all while we there (all of 45 minutes) it was never filled. For the price of the buffet all items should be filled in a timely manner. Our waitress apologized, but still no French toast. 😒“

We overheard another table being rude and complaining about literally everything but he stayed professional and kept working hard (as did the rest of the staff). Food was delicious. “You misspelled 'cozy' on your review choices. I loved the Campfire meals and was very sad to hear they are no longer available. I like the new look in the restaurant but like the previous menu better. I get great service in the Slidell, LA location. The store is beautiful and I can always find a nice gift there. I like the rewards program, also. I recommend the meat loaf and the southern style chicken to friends. I also think the greens are excellent. The cole slaw is also excellent. I think a soup/salad or soup/quiche or salad/quiche would be a good addition to your menu. I especially think seniors would enjoy this. A loaded baked potato would be another great menu item. I think changing the branding/logo was ridiculous!“

“Have not been to Fatty's in Slidell for a long time. The server Kelly remembered us when we walked in.
We ordered Shrimp Alfredo and Blackened Chicken from their lunch menu. It was delicious. I am glad we came back.
THEN: We ordered the in house made Bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Let me just say it was like Christmas in your mouth. Delicious!
I won't say what places they beat with this dessert. Lol

“Have never had a bad experience in this casual, cool restaurant located in the heart of Olde Towne in Slidell. Outdoor benches are available as well as indoor seating. The food is consistently delicious. On this visit, we had a poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and the gnarly steak tacos. Also recommend the ceviche appetizer. Great for those wanting to avoid carbs and it’s enough for an entire meal.“

“Right in the heart of old town Slidell. Just stopped in for lunch. We had the fried zucchini sticks which were excellent. The batter was light, cooked to perfection and you could really taste the veg. We had the supreme pizza and it was good. Huge pizza. Flat fresh bread. Not enough toppings for me but still really good. They have flavored teas that are delicious. Overall liked the place. Would go again“

“July 8th. 630 pm. Atmosphere very good. Ordered a medium rare ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Asparagus was seasoned better than any Asparagus ever.! My husband ordered the pork chops which were awesomely seasoned and tender for center cut. His fried okra was differently shaped than normal but was seasoned deliciously! We were pleasant surprised because the recent reviews were skeptical. We will be back all the way from east new orleans. KEEP THE COOKS!“
