“Excellent food and authentic Italian ingredients with a lot of creativity with the pizzas, salads and appetizers. The fresh fried mozzarella cheese served in the black iron skillet of hot marinara was especially delicious with a unique and wonderful presentation. The pizza crust around the edges were perfect but the crust seemed to get a little gooey and soggy toward the middle. The kitchen was a little slow but the service before, during and after the wait was very attentive, accommodating and hospitable. All the servers and even bussers were so friendly, they apologized for our long wait for the food and explained they were short staffed that night. On top of that, they were extremely busy. I can see why!!! Food is fresh and delicious and the service is warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back.“

“I just LOVE the atmosphere of this place! Not sure if they mean it to be this way or they just haven't redecorated since the 90's, but it's nostalgia at its best!! I love that you can watch the pizza guys making the pizza thru the window and the jukebox is such a cool touch. Also, the lighting is SO cool & vibey!! Now for the food.... We have ordered here about 3 times so far, and although pizza has great taste, it just REALLY needs to be made with a thicker crust! “We got into town in the evening and checked into The Southern hotel. We didn't feel like getting back in the car, so we looked for nearby places and I'm glad we did! The food here was very good, it wasn't too busy and we all enjoyed our dinner.Price was reasonable, and we got pizza, meatballs, friend chicken sandwich and the spicy tots.Do not miss out on the spicy tots - awesome. “This was only our second visit. We went once when they first opened. Don't know why we haven't gone back. It takes 20-30 minutes to bake each pizza. It's worth it. We split a Ceasars salad while waiting. The lettuce was fresh. The dressing savory and well distributed. Instead of croutons, pieces of pizza crust. The pizza is thin crust with a hearty serving of toppings. The staff is friendly and accommodating . We really enjoyed our meal. Will probably try a sandwich next time.“
“This is a place that when you walk in you are transported back in time! The walls have the history of the amazing woman that owns this place! All her food is made to order and her wine selection is just without words. Longer than my arm, blistering hot, and all of the greasy glory of a primo slice at a helluva great price. Wings were the best as always, but the half slice I got my daughter was completely burnt underneath and the replacement piece was burnt in parts. So we got 2 pizzas for $40. I don't really care if it's firebrick cooked, or not, that's kind of insane. I can go get 2 ribeye steaks and all you can eat rolls at Roadhouse for that. And the tea will be sweet.Except for the price, we really enjoyed the pizza. The only very minor issue I had was that the caesar dressing to my salad was missing from my order, but we’re all human and small mistakes happen so I wasn’t worried about it! “This was our first time ordering from here. The kids wanted to try this little place in Abita. It was a great little family place to order from. This was a Doordashed item, so I can't say what the interior is like, but the food was great. It wasn't too fancy, or too plain. Everything tasted great and was still hot when it arrived. Definitely worth a try.“
