Whether you are hungry for a salad, appetizer, dessert, entree, or all of the above, Walk-On’s has the best variety and most delicious food! Personal favorites: spinach & artichoke dip, lemon butter chicken, ribeye po-boy (extra garlic aoli), and chocolate chip cookie sundae. “We visit lots of breweries, in state & out of state, & there has not been another brewery that comes close to Huckleberry. Their Trail Dog & Sandbar Blonde are easy drinking & my 2 favorites. Having said that; their seasonals & the new releases are outstanding. Pair the beer with great entertainment, best bartenders around, & a Brewmaster & his wife who are always ready to welcome you to their brewery, & you will know right away that you’ve found your brewery! *& don’t forget to bring your pup, they are definitely fur baby friendly! 🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟”

“I never leave five star reviews because no place is perfect. But this place is the exception. I don't know the chefs, but they cook food that ruins every other restaurants' food. I've eaten in many states and five countries, but this place is my favorite. The staff (shout out to Chris, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Treyvon, and the rest) are mind-blowing in how far they go. By now, I've eaten most things on the menu, except the salad, and each was absolutely delicious. I have been back and will be back again.”

The eggs Benedict … this delicious golden yolk cascaded down, mingling with the silky thyme hollandaise to infuse into the soft English muffin…. Absolute delish!!! 2. The shrimp and grits …. Perfectly cooked spicy shrimp with Gouda grits was a testimony to why southern Louisiana cuisine reigns supreme …. And the Monica sauce elevates it to elegance while still your tummy is pampered with down home comfort. 3. The fried fish! This is a chef’s secret because it was not traditional fried fish. Whatever the secret, it delivered scrumptiousness in every crispy tender bite! Oh and don’t forget the homemade tartar sauce! 4. …… and the perfectly cooked Prime Rib! with the amazing horseradish sauce to complement … definitely a show stopper 5. The ambiance…. The service as always great …..Which seems to be part of the family atmosphere….. and the soft jazz …..taking it from just dining with family to Mother’s Day memories”

“Ms. Rachel was our waitress and cocktail provider. She was so friendly. The hummus she recommended for our starter really kicked off the meal. Her drinks were delicious and refreshing. Her cucumber Gin and Tonic was a sparkling surprise that went really well with my perfectly barely seared Tuna steak with grilled pineapple and jasmine rice with a wasabi honey sauce that could have been drunk. My honey got a steak that was cooked just how we like it: RARE. YUM! NOT TOO SALTY. I hate a good piece of meat that is ruined by over salting. I loved the layout of the outside eating area with all of the flowers and the super groovy music. They had Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, and Tyler Childers playing over the speakers. It is by far the best dining experience I've had in a long time. I usually end up regretting going out and wish I had just cooked at home instead of wasting my money on restaurant food. They get a 100% approval rating for atmosphere, taste, and service! Who knew such a gem was waiting on an out of the blue Louisiana adventure!?”

“Jeremiah the manager is FANTASTIC. My husband and I recently lost our daughter and months after my husband tried taking me to Hana in Alex to brighten my spirits. We were sat at a busy table with 5 little children two of which were babies. The restaurant was PACKED there was no way to switch tables. We had a wait for 2 hours to begin with. I tried to tough it out but it was too much and I had a panic attack. Of course my triggers and emotional state is not the fault of the family nor the establishment. However it was so severe and embarrassing we had to leave before our food was brought out and cooked. My husband spoke with the manager letting him know we needed to leave and he was very kind. He even told us when we are ready to let him know and he'd be happy to welcome us back. Well two months later I was and he sat us all by ourselves and made sure we had an amazing time. Our waiter and chef were amazing too. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the manager and the kindness he showed us!”

Doesn't this area have enough of them already?" But, this place is a step up in class and menu selections.”

We like to bring our pup to have a nice dinner every Friday, but with it being Lent we aim for the Monday night special. The staff have ALWAYS offered to bring out a water bowl. “If you go, give your tip directly to your server in cash and tell them it's not a tip, but a gift. Koal's pays their employees weak pay and acts like they're doing them a favor. Multiple employees over the years have told me Koal's keeps the tips we pay for the servers to have saying that the employees can have them if they want to make $2 an hour. Love the food there, but I won't support them after finding this out.”

“I love getting a frozen coffee with no flavor and whichever muffin I am in the mood for in the mornings. Every time I come you guys nail it! Everything is fresh and the taste is next to none. On top of the price point being perfect! This morning, I was heading to run an errand and since I was on the other side of town I thought I would make a stop at another local coffee shop off Versailles to save some time. Let me just say it was the worst idea ever. Their muffin was definitely store bought and had a lasting taste of cardboard. The frozen coffee had huge ice chunks on top of tasting like water. I ordered a small because I knew this was my first time trying them. The small frozen coffee and cardboard muffin was more expensive than your medium, perfectly blended, fresh, frozen coffee and your supper tasty homemade muffin. I am forever a loyal customer to little cakes! I came back across town because I couldn't go without my favorite coffee and muffin combo!!”

I have a problem with while I'm waiting in Drivethru, I'm seeing several Employees coming from within the Dumpster area, back to work.

I use to smoke cigarettes and I assume this is where they have been appointed to for that purpose or maybe it's other reasons.

BUT you can tell they been out there a hot minute for something!

I don't want to know my Food handling is at risk of an Employee that was hanging out around a Dumpster, for any reason, at all... 🤢

Needless to say, this has helped me make my visits less frequently!”

It's very authentic and the establishment has a nice vibe despite its size and location. The workers are nice despite the language barrier and you can tell they care about their food. The menu was a bit much and the prices are extremely overtuned for what they're serving and I found myself somewhat surprised upon seeing it. Also inside the establishment there wasn't much accessibility atleast not for my group at the time of entering; the tables are extremely small there were no napkins or tissues present so eating inside was overall a messy uncomfortable experience but admittedly it made me feel at home in a way. I'm guessing it isn't always like this since some pictures show napkins but I digress. Overall I do recommend coming here if you want homemade authentic Mexican cuisine prepared by hardworking cooks. Note: Their chips were superb and had they have the best beans I've eaten at a Mexican establishment. ¡Excelente!”

“I got the Maki Roll Lunch special which came with a salmon roll, spicy tuna, and California roll. Fish was fresh, food came out fast. The issue was that the rice was not sushi rice (usually flavored with sugar, mirin, etc;) but just plain white jasmine rice that was a little bit too dry to be used for sushi. The ratio of fish to rice is also not great, too much rice.
The rolls were also cut into uneven pieces, with some too thick. Honestly I picked off all the rice and just ate the inside of the rolls.

The service was good, food came fast. Large portions. It’s clean inside. I would probably just order sashimi next time.

Salmon roll- 4/5 due to freshness of salmon. Rice sucked.

California roll- 2/5. Rice ruined it. Some pieces too thick.

Spicy tuna roll-1/5. Horrible rice. The spicy tuna also had a weird flavor and was not enjoyable.”
