“If you haven't visited Crumbl yet, you are missing out my friend. This place has cookies I didn't even know I needed in my life until I tried them. The cookies are soft on the inside with just a slight crunch on the outer part of the cookie. There is fresh fruit on some of them, frosting on others and just a huge variety of choices. I haven't gotten a bad cookie yet! And the servers are always super friendly and quick. I cant recommend this place enough!!”

Perfectly cooked spicy shrimp with Gouda grits was a testimony to why southern Louisiana cuisine reigns supreme …. And the Monica sauce elevates it to elegance while still your tummy is pampered with down home comfort. 3. The fried fish! This is a chef’s secret because it was not traditional fried fish. Whatever the secret, it delivered scrumptiousness in every crispy tender bite! The ambiance felt "just right" for me, with its balance of dark lighting, soft and squishy chairs, and the chatter of conversation all around you. The bartender seemed attentive and accommodating. “Cooked to order, fresh and the only Italian place I know with real chefs. ( Locally) When I visit a restaurant I search for quality, freshly cooked food, never rehaeated, no canned sauce, and a unique menu. After two visits to this restaurant, I can say bellinos was all of that. With an updated menu every few weeks the menu options never feel dull. A small menu also allows for cooked to order food. The sauces were made fresh, from their own recipe and it shows itself with the flavor. Proteins cooked well each time, and the ambiance felt truly Italian. It's the best place I can recommend in all Alexandria for top tier culinary food.

I truly can't say it enough, the food tastes like it was picked and caught that morning, the flavors are incredibly clean. We've all had a filet or a chicken Parm.. but bellinos was a technical master class. The food alone was worth every dollar spent.

However I will say, my wife and I were a table of two, twice. Each time our table was overlooked and felt forgotten when being waited on. Drinks came slow in contrast to other tables being served multiple times. This is something that bothered us. Especially considering how much the bill was.”

“Jeremiah the manager is FANTASTIC. My husband and I recently lost our daughter and months after my husband tried taking me to Hana in Alex to brighten my spirits. We were sat at a busy table with 5 little children two of which were babies. The restaurant was PACKED there was no way to switch tables. We had a wait for 2 hours to begin with. I tried to tough it out but it was too much and I had a panic attack. Of course my triggers and emotional state is not the fault of the family nor the establishment. However it was so severe and embarrassing we had to leave before our food was brought out and cooked. My husband spoke with the manager letting him know we needed to leave and he was very kind. He even told us when we are ready to let him know and he'd be happy to welcome us back. Well two months later I was and he sat us all by ourselves and made sure we had an amazing time. Our waiter and chef were amazing too. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the manager and the kindness he showed us!”

Multiple employees over the years have told me Koal's keeps the tips we pay for the servers to have saying that the employees can have them if they want to make $2 an hour. Love the food there, but I won't support them after finding this out.”

“I love getting a frozen coffee with no flavor and whichever muffin I am in the mood for in the mornings. Every time I come you guys nail it! Everything is fresh and the taste is next to none. On top of the price point being perfect! This morning, I was heading to run an errand and since I was on the other side of town I thought I would make a stop at another local coffee shop off Versailles to save some time. Let me just say it was the worst idea ever. Their muffin was definitely store bought and had a lasting taste of cardboard. The frozen coffee had huge ice chunks on top of tasting like water. I ordered a small because I knew this was my first time trying them. The small frozen coffee and cardboard muffin was more expensive than your medium, perfectly blended, fresh, frozen coffee and your supper tasty homemade muffin. I am forever a loyal customer to little cakes! I came back across town because I couldn't go without my favorite coffee and muffin combo!!”

“I got the Maki Roll Lunch special which came with a salmon roll, spicy tuna, and California roll. Fish was fresh, food came out fast. The issue was that the rice was not sushi rice (usually flavored with sugar, mirin, etc;) but just plain white jasmine rice that was a little bit too dry to be used for sushi. The ratio of fish to rice is also not great, too much rice.
The rolls were also cut into uneven pieces, with some too thick. Honestly I picked off all the rice and just ate the inside of the rolls.

The service was good, food came fast. Large portions. It’s clean inside. I would probably just order sashimi next time.

Salmon roll- 4/5 due to freshness of salmon. Rice sucked.

California roll- 2/5. Rice ruined it. Some pieces too thick.

Spicy tuna roll-1/5. Horrible rice. The spicy tuna also had a weird flavor and was not enjoyable.”
