“A friend and I had lunch today at Main Street Restaurant in Gilliam LA. We were driving the Sunflower Trail. I ordered fried shrimp and my friend ordered the fried catfish. The food was excellent. Could not think of one criticism. The atmosphere is family friendly. The service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time dining here. I had the Mixed Platter, it was delicious. The brisket was so tender, and the ribs were delish but had almost no meat on them. The green beans were definitely a hit. I always go to the other barbecue place close by and I was just wanting to try something new. I will definitely take my son in there to have some brisket.”

“Just passing through town and stopped by for lunch. Had the fried pickles with ranch, very good. Shrimp po boy comes either fried or grilled. I had grilled shrimp, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and some type of yummy sauce on the sandwich. Very yummy.”

Marco’s Pizza (the location we tried anyway) is 100% worth checking out!!!! We got a large half & half pizza - half cheese, half Philly… it was so perfectly executed! The cheese half had garlic & Parmesan on the crust, red sauce, & two types of cheese. The Philly half had plain crust, white sauce, and all the Philly toppings. Best take-out pizza I have had in a LOOOONG time!!!

We tried their Cinnasquares too. They were pretty good too. A little dense, but very cinnamon-sugary. And you get the icing in a little packet so you can control the amount that gets put on them. The only thing that ruffled my feathers is that we ordered the new ones that are supposed to come with both icing & chocolate sauce and they forgot our chocolate sauce (and I forgot to remind John to check the boxes). But they’re gonna hook us up with two free sauces next time we come through - so they’re super awesome!!

“So I went it on 9/11/24 and they were backed up with a woman being unreasonable and rude ordering off a picture some tik tok made item and was rude the entire time the staff held it togather wonderfully and still provided excellent service and the food was delicious”

“I love that it's conveniently located, the service is kinda slow but that's ok. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because their earpeace equipment don't work. I had to repeat my order 4 times and get louder and louder and i don't like feeling like I'm yelling. So hopefully they get that fixed. Cus i felt bad for having to raise my voice in order for the girl to hear me. But the order was correct and it tasted fine.”
