“Yes yes yes. I finally was able to sit down and eat here while I was in town and it’s 10/10. I came on a Sunday when they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but of course I had to get some sides to try. My favorites were the smothered green beans and potatoes and pickle cheese (enough to where I’d get those every time I come in if they’re on the menu). Also, those ✨wings✨ omg. They’re habanero pineapple white BBQ wings, but don’t be scared - they’re not overly spicy. I’d say they’re more smoky than spicy. So good. The smothered okra and pot roast were also flavorful and delicious.
The restaurant itself has a very retro/vintage vibe that I think goes really well with the homemade cooking, and the service is very good. I was able to bring my favoritest boy (my dog Cashew) onto the back patio where we enjoyed a late lunch. I’ll be back!“

“Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“Shane’s catered our event and it was a hit! Great tasting food and definitely get your bang for your buck! Fresh and tasty and loved by all. “0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. “5-piece wing is reasonably priced. Fries are seasoned just right, and there was an electrical outlet available in the clutch for my phone.
This place has an unassuming, but cozy sit-down bar with cushioned seats. These small accoutrements are just what a Canal and Bourbon Street wanderer needs for Super Bowl weekend.“

“Food was stunning, we had the pork and the brisket which we split between us. Don’t know how, but the coleslaw was even brilliant with all the crunch and sweetness you could ever hope for. The brisket was so tender it was like soup and flavoured with a perfect level of pepper. The pork was melt in the mouth and heavenly.“

“Pretty chill spot. Wasn't very busy on a Tuesday evening before a Pelicans game. It's a 10-minute walk if you're here for a Saints or Pelicans game. Food and beer were decent. Turkey was spot on Dirty Rice wqs better than velveta sheels and cheese. I tried their Pilsner called Fess which has heavier taste, similar to a Budwieser. Their BBQ sauce had a slight spice to it, but slapped pretty good. The mustard and vinegar not up my alley so that's gonna be a no for me dawg. Old school games available to play, but it's kinda pricey. Worth a stop even if it's just for a snack amd drink.“

“The service was great, the employees were kind and helpful. The brisket was really delicious, also the cole slaw and potato salad. Its a new fav place in da parish.Our server was Adriana and she was awesome.
Vegetarian options: Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Fries were okay but nothing special. I hope they get their brocoli salad and caesar salad in the future.
Kid-friendliness: Our server said Sundays kids eat free for every …. I think she said $12 spent????“

“We recently came for dinner, excited to try a new spot close to home. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several areas, though we truly believe this place has potential if some key improvements are made. First, the service was lacking—wait times was a little excessive (there were 3 tables it shouldn’t take 15 minutes to get drinks), our table wasn’t given silverware or plates for our appetizer until we asked, condiments weren’t stocked, and refills were nonexistent. Went to grab my own ketchup since I didn’t get my sauces I ordered and couldn’t get a hold of a server… every bottle was empty. There was no check in until after the whole table had already boxed their food themselves. For the price point of the menu, we expected better service from the staff and a more consistent execution from the kitchen. A bit more attentiveness from the staff would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience. As for the food, there were some hits and misses. The Creole Bleu fries were great, creating high expectations for the entrees to come. My seafood platter was decent—the fish and shrimp were cooked well—but the hush puppies were cold, onion rings were overly greasy and difficult to eat. My dad’s steak was ordered medium-rare but arrived cold and blue-rare, which was disappointing. Additionally, the pasta dishes at our table were overly watery, which took away from the flavors we were expecting. We truly want to see this restaurant succeed because it’s in a great location and has promise. With some attention to detail in service and consistency in food preparation, this could become a go-to spot for locals. We hope to give it another try in the future and see improvements!“

“I've been three times in the past coupla weeks because it's that damn good. They're doing an awesome all-day special right now (see picture I uploaded) and it's an amazing deal for how much food you get. Their potato salad is possibly the best I've ever had so I highly recommend it as a side. Friendly and very fast service. I wish I'd discovered this place sooner and I'll probably go again tomorrow.“
