“Yes yes yes. I finally was able to sit down and eat here while I was in town and it’s 10/10. I came on a Sunday when they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but of course I had to get some sides to try. My favorites were the smothered green beans and potatoes and pickle cheese (enough to where I’d get those every time I come in if they’re on the menu). Also, those ✨wings✨ omg. They’re habanero pineapple white BBQ wings, but don’t be scared - they’re not overly spicy. I’d say they’re more smoky than spicy. So good. The smothered okra and pot roast were also flavorful and delicious.

The restaurant itself has a very retro/vintage vibe that I think goes really well with the homemade cooking, and the service is very good. I was able to bring my favoritest boy (my dog Cashew) onto the back patio where we enjoyed a late lunch. I’ll be back!“

“Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. “Nice small place. If you don’t pay attention you might pass by this place. I gave it 5/5 stars because the brisket was over seasoned to get that bark. But was perfectly consistent not dry it was juicy. Cole slaw was right on with the flavors. Fries were delicious“

“Pretty chill spot. Wasn't very busy on a Tuesday evening before a Pelicans game. It's a 10-minute walk if you're here for a Saints or Pelicans game. Food and beer were decent. Turkey was spot on Dirty Rice wqs better than velveta sheels and cheese. I tried their Pilsner called Fess which has heavier taste, similar to a Budwieser. Their BBQ sauce had a slight spice to it, but slapped pretty good. The mustard and vinegar not up my alley so that's gonna be a no for me dawg. Old school games available to play, but it's kinda pricey. Worth a stop even if it's just for a snack amd drink.“

“The service was great, the employees were kind and helpful. The brisket was really delicious, also the cole slaw and potato salad. Its a new fav place in da parish.Our server was Adriana and she was awesome.

Vegetarian options: Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Fries were okay but nothing special. I hope they get their brocoli salad and caesar salad in the future.
