“My planning company recently had the opportunity to work with the Elysian Catering team for a cocktail-style wedding reception at Race & Religious in New Orleans, and I couldn't speak more highly of their professionalism and ability to go above and beyond for their clients. Despite being in the thick of Wedding Season, Amelia and Jen were always just an email- or phone call- away. They were patient, professional, and helpful. On Wedding Day, the team was prompt, efficient, and put out a beautiful (and delicious!) buffet spread, along with passed apps, oysters, and bar service. Be kind to your catering and vendor teams- they're working so hard for you behind the scenes- Elysian is proof of that!“

“I stumbled upon this food truck in September ‘23. I had to go through my credit card statements to find the name. The food was incredible, the portions were huge, and the price, felt like I was fleecing them. A slab and a half of ribs, sausage rice, French fries, a roll, and a can soda for $15.01. Back home here in NC, you’d have to at least double that price!“
“We had messina’s catering for our destination wedding in New Orleans. The staff was very attentive and kind. I had planned this event mostly with Kaya, who was wonderful. The staff had food for us at the sweetheart table ready to go, and made SURE we both ate (which is hard to do at a wedding reception). They also did a marvelous job at customizing most of our dishes to be GF, and you literally could not tell at all ( if you know, you know). Everything was divine. “Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“
“I was a bit skeptical about ordering from a food truck, but my brother and I decided to give it a go. We decided to try the spicy chicken sandwich on brioche and OMG it was a amazing. Our entire experience was wonderful, but I never tasted a chicken sandwich packed with so much flavor like this one. PLEASE don't sleep on food trucks in New Orleans la. Cocoa & Cream was super helpful and kind. 5/5!“

“For my first time hooks catching &frying was really good hot foods shrimp fried rice was the best I've had. The catfish and shrimps were fried perfect. I love the hushpuppies fried just like I like them. Good service with good food.“

“Still the best chill out place Thu go in the parish corner of St Bernard highway and Paris road place has not changed a bit since the 80's thank god!
