“Elysian Events Catering Company was absolutely incredible. We hired them for my mom’s 70th birthday party at my house, and they helped make the night feel special from the moment they arrived.
They created a beautiful charcuterie display that immediately elevated the entire event. The setup was gorgeous, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. They also passed around delicious hors d’oeuvres throughout the party, and the food was truly 10/10. Everything tasted amazing, and our guests kept commenting on how good it was. Several people even reached out to me after to get the name of the catering company.
What impressed me most was how seamless their service was. They were like catering ninjas! Always present when needed, but never in the way. They kept everyone fed, the presentation beautiful, and the event flowing effortlessly.
I highly recommend Elysian Events Catering Company for anyone hosting a private party, birthday celebration, or gathering in New Orleans. Great food, beautiful presentation, and professional service from start to finish.“

“We stopped in on Saturday evening and ordered a special and a Chris Special. I had the Chris special and I’m not sure I’m going to even bother to try anything else on the menu because it was THAT GOOD. My husband ordered the special with a side of the hot chili garlic oil for dipping - really great! We shared an order of fries and had a side of Mack sauce and a side of honey mustard for dipping. It was a quiet night so we ordered a fountain Diet Coke and a Coke 🤣 - but saw there were some good liquor choices behind the counter and a pretty darned great selection of other canned/bottled beverages. Definitely coming back - definitely excellent.“
“We had messina’s catering for our destination wedding in New Orleans. The staff was very attentive and kind. I had planned this event mostly with Kaya, who was wonderful. The staff had food for us at the sweetheart table ready to go, and made SURE we both ate (which is hard to do at a wedding reception). They also did a marvelous job at customizing most of our dishes to be GF, and you literally could not tell at all ( if you know, you know). Everything was divine. “You need to look no further for your cake artist. The CupCake Fairies provided personal and excellent customer service for our destination wedding. After getting a very and probably overly detailed acccout of what we were looking for she created an amazing delicious cake of our dreams and then went above and beyond by delivering to our airbnb after a long day of travel for us. They set up the cake for us perfectly at te venue. thank you so much.“

“I used Nola Crawfish King for an outdoor party we just held in June. I worked with Sophia in catering, and she could not have been more helpful. She quickly responded to all of my many emails. I wanted a crawfish/shrimp boil, and she helped with deciding what the ratio should be considering it was late in the season for crawfish. The guys who did the boil did a great job, set up all the tables and chairs, and everybody loved the seafood. Don't hesitate to use this company. You won't regret it.“
“Hands down the best BBQ Ribs I have ever tasted. This was southern hospitality at it's finest. I am happy to come here with my friends and eat this delicious food. Thank you to Chef D'z and staff for an amazing spread and great service!! I ordered the BBQ ribs combo and that came with Dirty rice, Texas toast, the greatest bbq ribs ever, and some delicious corn on the cob. I have a shellfish allergy and the took care of me. My friends got the Shrimp, fish and fried oysters. I also got some banana pudding because Im a fat ass, lol.“

“Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“Still the best chill out place Thu go in the parish corner of St Bernard highway and Paris road place has not changed a bit since the 80's thank god! I met my husband there in 1991 and we got married there in 1999 in the back in the hotel part and guess what here it is 2020 still married just wish the guy that made the oyster shooters would have left them hits recipe. I'll always end my night off going out there.“
