What a great restaurant! I moved to Gentilly almost 2 years ago and Sammy’s has been a solid lunch spot that people recommend from the get go. Everything was fresh, hot and really flavorful. It’s my go to whenever people are looking for a good introduction to New Orleans!
I gave this an amazing review for the first time I went. I did a return visit a week later and the bread was hard as a rock.
