“The food was excellent, homestyle cooking. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, interacted well with customers, and they provided excellent service, everytime I visited the restaurant. It is very family welcoming. The place is very clean. Can complete with any restaurant all round.Vegetarian options: They accommodate alternatives.Dietary restrictions: Their menu is accommodating for all.Parking: Plently of parking space, surrounding the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The staff are family , kid , and individual friendly. “Had the most divine time and the staff was amazing. I got to know the owner's children who are amazing young men. They were very welcoming and informative about the history of the restaurant. Had the red snapper with rice and the veggie tray with injera bread. Gonna use my leftover injera for twist-on crepes in the morning.“

“What’s left of my not crab cake and RA pasta…the BEST vegan and GF food I’ve ever had!!!! I thought for sure I would be sick…no way my allergy food could be this tasty and comparable to “real food” nope!!!! Not sick at all! I felt like I was eating “bad” food. Thank y’all so much because I can’t eat anything just anywhere! Will be back!!!!!“

“What a cool place! The decorations and atmosphere are pretty funky, and make perfect sense for a hot dog place! The food is really great... what I'd want for a fully loaded dog/sausage with an unbelievably diverse topping menu. The choices were overwhelming so they have some "house favourites" that make choosing easier. The seating upstairs and down is quite basic. We sat up on the balcony with a fun view of the bustling street. It's an open-door hot dog eatery so set your expectations accordingly, but the food was great (gator and crawfish sausage and bratwurst with etouffee topping). Service was a bit slow for the type of food served, but that's not an overriding concern at all. I really liked this place and it was a memorable stop in NOLA. I'll post some pictures when I find them!“

“We ordered lunch today from Suzie’s for our office staff of about 12 people. Everybody was very happy with the quality of the food. Not a single compliant from anyone and they provided great customer service. We will definitely order again“

“This is outstanding fried chicken. I ate on-site, so it arrived at my table hot. Perfect balance of crunchy and tender, with a nice spicy kick. The coleslaw and beans were great, but the collard greens were especially tasty. If I lived nearby, I would be here at least once a week.“

“This was our second time coming here! The alligator and etouffee dogs were really yummy and unique! Better than any normal hot dog. The etouffee fries were a bit too liquidy, and they could’ve put more meat, but we still enjoyed the concept. It wasn’t worth the $7, but it’s definitely something worth trying once.“

“I have been to this place twice and the food is phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love the decor and atmosphere! If the chocolate cake is on the menu, order it! I’m usually not a fan of chocolate cake, but it was the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t stop eating it.“

“Dined late night so only a few other diners. Had the place to ourselves. The food as with the other True Food restaurant in Santa Monica I've eaten at was excellent. All 3 of our dishes from the salmon to Mothers Meat Loaf and Teriyaki Bowl were superb. Our server was attentive even though I'm sure she had closing duties to attend to. So nice to have a healthy meal in the midst of all the fried and unhealthy meals this week!“
