“A great location to dine and wine at. Great waiters and waitresses that know how to treat customers, and are genuine. Lengthy wait for food, but the chefs make the wait WELL worth it. Food is absolutely delicious. Speaking of food, it has a wide variety to select from on the menu. Highly recommend eating here, and I will definitely be coming back!“

“Quaint little diner! The owner was so very sweet. She definitely needed some more help it took a while to get our food, but I had the club sandwich with fried okra and it was so very good, my fiancée had the red beans, she said they were ok needed more seasonings and they were a little cold and needed cornbread instead of the hard crusty French bread it came with. Limited menu though. But definitely will try again next time we are in the area!“

“First off let me just say 5/5, 10/10, 100/100. I got the pleasure to dine-in during the tail end of September and it is still as memorable all this time later. I was in awe of the amount of food and the price per plate. It is high quality food, friendly staff, and a decent location for a restaurant. If you are a local or just visiting, I would highly recommend checking out this gem.“

“Ye Olde College Inn (aka Old College Inn) represents a great example of what makes New Orleans great over the decades - what the spirit of NOLA is really about - it is family owned and operated - it is a loving gathering place to share meals, a drink and friendship. For those of us lucky enough to live here in NOLA this one of our great places. For the food, personally I mostly get the grilled fresh fish with whatever are the in-season home/local vegetables. If & when my wife is not watching my waistline then I treat myself to the Onion Rings (apetitizer) followed by a delicious and hardy hamburger steak - or fully dressed po-boy. Many of we locals come on the early side directly after Saturday or Sunday afternoon mass at St. Rita's and we beat the 6:30-8:30 full house. If you are looking for a current trendy restaurant you might just want to stop in for a drink, shake hands with the 15-20 locals at around the bar and then head to the current moment fusion-of-choice. Only 35 years in New Orleans, I remain.“

“We had a great time here! Shout-out to Julia for holding down the entire front of the house, and to the kitchen for reminding us of what it's like to eat gumbo in someone's house. Shrimp poboy was also perfectly made. Our service was excellent, Julia was very attentive, and the kitchen was seriously hustling, we got our food in 15 minutes and sat and enjoyed until right when we had to leave for the gate. We heard the folks next to us say they needed a nap after their meal. We had been sorry we didn't book at Dooky Chase far enough in advance to go during our trip. So we were very grateful to get this experience. And we read all the negative reviews, our time here was nothing like that at all.“

“Wow, where to begin! My family of five is on vacation from Detroit, MI and we had just gone on an airboat tour when we googled local restaurants. We landed on this gem, Jae Flem. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.“
