“I put yes because I’m hoping it was just an off day and not a new norm. Generally, Miko’s is our absolute favorite local donut shop. The best old fashion donuts I’ve had in years. I’m literally obsessed and tell everyone to try them. Today is Mother’s Day, and I spent all night in the ER with my son and just didn’t want to cook breakfast on two hours of sleep.. To start, the jalapeño kolache was great and so were the specialty donuts! But our boudin kolaches- the bread was the same size as usual, but there was maybe a tablespoon or less of boudin inside each of them and the regular glaze and chocolate glaze donuts look much smaller than usual. My kids are still hungry after eating their breakfast. 😢“

“I ordered a large round cake, Bluey themed for my child’s birthday. He is severely allergic to egg so I didn’t want egg brought into the party at all (toddlers like to share). The cake tasted great, you could tell that it was egg free but it was most, sweet, and had a pleasant taste. Her icing was spot on. “Picked up a 6 loaf bag of poboy breads yesterday, best bread in lafayette. Used to get them when we dine at Ruth’s Chris but since RC sold out they are using a much worse bread. Ruth’s needs to go back to Langlinais because Langlinais better fits with the fine dining of Ruth’s Chris.“

“Keller's in Lafayette has been my go-to bakery for over 70 years. I live an hour away, but it is the only bakery I frequent. I love the Lafayette store. The servers there are unfailingly nice, friendly, and above all, patient, while we decide on purchases. Shout out to Nyla, Rylie, and Olivia. I dream of many treats there, but my favorites are the sand tarts with chocolate!“

“I recently moved to Broussard and stumbled upon this wonderful shop. I have never eaten a donut that tasted so delicious! The chocolate they use is melt in your mouth good! Also great customer service! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate me today because they had ran out of chocolate covered donuts. He dipped some for me within five minutes. My family was so impressed and appreciative. We will be referring friends and family. Sunrise Donuts is the absolute best!“

“As a customer before an employee, I never had a unsatisfactory visit here. The staff was always pleasant even when busy. When I got asked to come on as a part time decorator I thought sure,why not?! You never want to be the reason someone has a less than perfect birthday. It isn't as easy as it seems to recreate a vision with buttercream on a cookie but I try my very best. “I have lived in multiple states, but this specific donut shop is the best available. The donuts here are larger than most donut shops, but they manage to not be greasy or too heavy. The icing is perfect too! The staff here are amazing too! Always kind and welcoming, even when the line of customers is out the door.“
