“We came here last Saturday after a trip to the zoo. The restaurant was clean and not too busy. There were a lot of things on the menu I wanted to try. I ended up getting the gumbo and the red beans and rice. It took awhile for the food to get to us, but at least the food was good! Good portion size too. My mom had the catfish poyboy and she said it was the best bread! My only complaint is that our waitress kinda disappeared and didn't come check on us. We had to go find someone to find her to get us to go boxes and the check. Other than that though, very good food.“
“Sorry Fat Pat’s. You have many 5-star ratings, but I gotta give you a little less. My son and I were seated at a table in the back corner near the kitchen. There were 2 other tables I saw on our way that were full of dirty dishes. Our table was sticky. I asked the waitress to clean it, which she did. Burgers don’t really taste freshly cooked. I’ll give you another try, maybe when you’re not so busy.“
“This was our first visit to Twin Peaks, and my husband and I were quite impressed. All of the food is very reasonably priced, which is becoming a rarity around here lately. My husband got the billionaire bacon burger, and I got the lobster mac and cheese. The food was delicious. At first sight, the portion of my dish seemed a bit on the small side. But it was actually quite filling and I was only able to finish half of it. My husband quite enjoyed his burger as well. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasty. The service was great as well. Our waitress was super friendly, and she was also training a couple of other waitresses and seemed to be doing a pretty good job with that too. She also ensured her manager visited with us as first time guests. The manager was very friendly, and informed us of the car meet ups and shows that were upcoming. We definitely will be back!“
“The food was amazing! We are from the Abbeville area which has really good seafood. I was really impressed and can't wait to come back!! We started with the chicken cracklin for our appetizer. Yummy! My husband and daughter had the boiled shrimp which the shell was split and was already deveined. They were seasoned perfect. My other daughter and I had the fried shrimp which was also awesome.“
“Pierceton was the BEST server I had in a long time!! He is new but has so much potential as he is very personable, thoughtful and knows how to talk to guests! I wish him the best of luck as a new server and know he will do amazing!! Will definitely be back to see him!“
“I wish I had taken pictures of the food before we devoured it!? My husband and I went on a lunch date to Mandez’s Seafood for the first time last week. He had the catfish platter, and I had the Smokehouse Burger! Everything was delicious, and the serving sizes were proportionate to the price! Service was great as well. We will definitely return to try more menu items!“
“I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.“
“The older gal behind the bar runs a well oiled machine. Didn’t think the jukebox could be so loud which is a good thing. Top bar in Lafayette don’t waste your time going downtown. Beer was cold and served promptly. Chicken fingers and fries were fresh. Lotta people playing pool so plenty of elbow room at the bar. Thank you Green Oaks!“
“Im giving this place 5 stars on the frozen margaritas alone.(.its not top shelf ...but for what it is...its in the upper tier for these types of places as far as frozen drinks go)I bought a gallon for myself my significant other to share....it cost 35 dollars....and they gave us two normal sized Styrofoam cups. The mix tasted really good and the tequila was quality...we didn't need extra shots at all....infact it, about two and a half cups she was giving all manner of indignant speeches against various injustices. I don't drink alot but the mix tastes pretty good and with it being so hot, before I knew it, I was a little indignant myself! ??For an early friday night, it did not look very busy. Two 30 something guys were having a drink on the back porch but that was about it...seemed like a chill place....I imagine they sell alot of drive thru frozen drinks...and Thats fine because they are good at making them. Not a huge amount of lighting in the parking lot...had to really look for it at night, having never been there...but it looks like a great friendly place for good natured every day people to have a drink. Person at the window was friendly.Definitely will order again when we come back to Lafayette..“
“This is one of the best bars in Downtown Lafayette and a big part of why this bar is so fun is that the bartenders take fantastic care of you! You get really top notch excellent service here that is fast and friendly. They always seem to be having a good time in this joint and you also have the option of the huge patio in the rear of this spot where you can have a totally different environment which is also lots of fun. Overall this is just a great spot where they take great care of you.“
“Always friendly and courteous! I don't like the MF (it stands for what you think it is) you might because it's pure liquor and tastes like it. It's there Best Seller. I wonder why... Lol. So far I love the Push-up the best! Will continue to try the other items on the menu. Stay tuned. I wonder what ingredients make the 190 Octane because it's the orange flavoring in the Push-up. If you know let me know, please. My favorite daiquri place so far!“
“The Bulldog is an icon of Lafayette. They have THE BEST crawfish in Lafayette and have an amazing staff. You get what you give with these people. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food but it's always hot and top notch. Relax and have a good time. It's how we roll in Acadiana!“
“Me and my fiance went eat tonight. food was great but the bartender/server was horrible. her name was Miranda. No energy, no smile, was sarcastic when we ordered like we were ignorant and she just wasn't good. Would love to eat there again but definitely when she isn't working. !!!!!!“
“We had dinner with our two girls and they had so much fun! The crawfish were on point and the waitress/bartender were helpful and sweet! It is a bar so there was a man swaying passing our table. We may go earlier in the day next time. We will be making this a regular spot from now on!Kid-friendliness: My 8 year old and 16 year old both had fun! I was able to teach them how to play pool and my 8 year old danced her heart out without anyone getting upset.“
