“Stopped in for some amazing food with my brother and mom on a Thursday evening and I was craving catfish. Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. Ask for Carmin, she will welcome you with open arms. ~J”

“Had a fine lunch with a great waitress! The white cheese dip is superior to other Mexican Restaurants in our area. An outstanding chips, bean dip, and salsa were served along the best taco salad (beef) with fresh chopped lettuce! Truly a delicious experience!”

“I came here after running the Louisiana marathon so ordered a ton of food. The Korean tofu is the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life - a must-try if you like spicy food. Indonesian noodles were excellent. I got the lasagna to go and it looks beautiful. I was not expecting to find vegan lasagna in Baton Rouge! Staff is great and it’s a nice sit-down spot. “My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time tonight and I couldn't recommend this place more! I got the boudin burger and brussel sprouts (absolutely phenomenal). He got the pork chop and parm crusted mashed potatoes. Huge portion of pork chop and it was incredibly juicy and so well seasoned.
