“I use to live right by this donut shop and regret not trying it sooner, now I drive from across town to get donuts here if I can. The best apple fritters are made here, as well as eclairs. My husband says they have the best Bavarian cream too. Bonus is the people, they are always nice and smiling.“

“OMG, when I tell you everything was so damn good here! 🤤 My mouth is watering just thinking about this place. We had the Vietnamese coffee, the Cold Brew de Crema, and a blueberry muffin! Every single thing was amazing. I'd seriously drive all the way to Baton Rouge from DFW just for this coffee. The space is super cute, the staff is so friendly, and the whole place has such a great vibe. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back!“

“Excellent strength and flavor latte. I came specifically to this coffee shop for their cozy outdoor patio as it was a perfect day for being outside. Wish they’d offer more savory bites - wraps, bowls, sandwiches. All the food offerings I saw were mostly sweet - biscottis, cookies, cakes, and muffins.“

“This place is just okay. Others in town I would go to first for high quality coffee and pastries. They didn’t add the syrup I ordered so my iced latte was just plain. Maybe petty but their lids don’t fit tightly on their to go cups and results in coffee spilling down you when you drink it, which is just annoying and an easy fix. The pastry I had was good so that’s what saved the experience for me, though I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“Been here three times. Always get a large iced coffee and everytime the sweetness level is lower that requested. My daughter gets medium size and it's perfect. “CC's Coffee in Baton Rouge served us up a 5 star experience twice in my recent trip to BR for a memorial service. Family recommended the location for quality local coffee. And Rick James hosted us like a pro both times at the walk-in counter and at the drive thru window the following morning. His bright friendly attitude made the place feel welcoming and the experience feel memorable.

Community Coffee is a Lousiana staple. I drank it growing up at home and every gas station and restaurant. But they never had the CC's coffee shops back in those days. I wasn't let down by the quality of the coffee. The espresso blend was a good med-dark roast that is subtle with little brown sugar and nutty flavors. Try the recommended coffee to milk ratios first. If you add shots it it surprises you and gets overpowering quickly. I wish they had a 24oz hot size for a 4 shot latte, but that is a personal preference about the coffee/milk ratio.

The freshness and flavor of their beans is better than all of the nearby coffee drive thrus. And my teenager loved the butter cookie and smores flavors better than his usual sugary choices at the nationwide chains he frequents.

The location at Lee and Burbank, drive thru, and walk-in, is super convenient to get in and out of. Rick James is running things like a boss. CC's Coffee House took home the win for my favorite BR coffee spot during my time there!“

“Grabbed my first nutrition tea from here (gummy bear) after religiously going to Tiger Nutrition. Firstly the service here is SO genuine and helpful, and the smell is significantly better 😅 not sure what they do at the other shop but Rouge Nutrition is clean and welcoming. “I SOOOO enjoyed visiting this location while at a racquetball tournament located at the LSU rec center. Jillian immediately acknowledged us, told us she would be with us in just a minute, assisted me with getting the app setup, warmed my banana walnut bread without me even asking, and made suggestions of other items in store. Ash then made the coffee which was just right...totally perfect! Both ladies had wonderful smiles and was so accommodating to all the customers no matter the age.

The other things that I really appreciated is that the music was not blasting, it wasn't freezing cold, and it was very very clean.

Thanks for making this a memorable visit and when we (my husband and I) are in the area next time we will be sure to drop in.“

“The Cajun Burger is fantastic! Great flavor and they made it quickly. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely be back for lunch as they have a lot of things on the menu. They also many coffee options and fresh bread for sale that looked good. Highly recommend for downtown lunch/breakfast.“

“Spaced nicely all over the area. I’m at one of the locations 2 times a week. Too bad only 1 in 6 can give me what I ask for. A super grande vanilla latte with foam is like maybe getting a grande coffee. If you ask for no foam or froth only 1-6 can understand what that means. Not sure how else to order no froth or foam and get a super grande cup of vanilla latte.“

“Would be five stars except they don't offer their usual iced coffees or granitas like other locations. Otherwise very friendly staff, ample seating, good hot coffees, hot New Orleans style beignets, breakfast sandwiches. Basically a five star coffee spot, just have to dock them a star on gp for not being able to serve cold or blended drinks.“
