So kind and accommodating. The service was top notch, the food was all delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend.”

“I love this restaurant but HATE this location. They do not take pride in their plates. Not sure when they stopped putting the salads in its own container but I just got a salad full of sauce and rice. The customer service at this location is also lacking. Employees are always on their cell phones even when a customer walks in.”

“I would like to share my experience while visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe. First, I'd like to say this was my first experience; however, certainly not my last. I was promptly greeted by the friendly staff. I placed my order and thoroughly paid attention to the young lady preparing my food. I believe her name was Carsen. It was a special order, and Carsen did not disappoint. When we look at food, we see its color, shape, texture, etc. These visual cues can influence how we think the food will taste. My food was exactly what I ordered and appealed to my eye, which translated to a wonderful experience all around. Again, it was my first time visiting this location, and I can say with sheer confidence, it won't be my last. Thank you, staff at Tropical Smoothie Cafe Carencro.”

Anyway ima tell a story about my pain when trying to play ping pong, ok so me and my dad where at the worlds second largest Marriott very cool place 10/10 but I wanted to play sum ping pong so I went down to the pool but there where people playing so me and my dad went up to our room. The next day we went to go get breakfast and when we came back, the same two people where playing ping pong now thing is they aren’t GOOD they aways miss the ball like how can that be fun. The NEXT DAY THEY WHERE STILL PLAYING PING PONG I hope this was long enough.”

I’ve had my fair share of plate lunches over the years, but this was on another level. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The red beans and rice had that perfect smoky flavor — rich, hearty, and balanced. Nothing overwhelmed anything else. Just good, soulful food that makes you close your eyes and nod like “yes, THIS.” The mac & cheese? Creamy, cheesy goodness that could double as therapy. And let me talk about the fried chicken. Y’all. Fried chicken might be a simple dish, but what they’re doing at Veronica Café? Next level. The seasoning was chef’s kiss — not too salty, not too spicy, not too bland — just flavorful all the way through. Every bite had me wondering how they made it taste that good. You can feel the love in every dish. I genuinely believe everything was cooked with care, intention, and soul. After today, this is officially my go-to spot for plate lunches. “There was a bit of a wait Sunday morning. I had called in my order and still had a good wait in line. For those unaware of the process, call in the order and wait in line. Give them your name,pay for the food, and proceed to the pick-up window. Anyway, I ordered the ribs and 2 pork steak plates. If you want the brisket,chicken, or sausage plates, then arrive early. They will sell out and you will miss out.”
