“The bartender was great. FAST AND EVEN COOKED RED BEANS AND RICE WITH CORNBREAD. Good honest people. More than one pool table would have been better but it's pretty small when compared to other bars in that area. I would definitely recommend stoppin by for a drink . I will definitely be going back.”

“My food came out cold. I had the BBQ brisket. Sides were; potato salad, baked beans, rice dressing and a roll. I didn't receive my roll, rice dressing and brisket were cold. I mean cold like sat out of the heat for 15 minutes. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and it wasn't overly busy. Waitress tried, but first didn't bring plates for shareables, didn't bring utensils for meals, never got my BBQ sauce, and that was on her. I understand the food coming out was the kitchen not her, but the rest was. I got tap water for my drink and the bill listed my drink as 2.99 when we complained she reduced it to 89 cents. For tap water.
An apology wasn't offered, no assurance of our food coming. My brother in laws food came when others were finishing. It was a mess. I really doubt I'll be returning. It was a disappointment. It was only our second time eating there. The first time service was just as bad. It's a shame. A lil town like cankton needs these mom and pop places. But poor customer service has no excuses.”

“What an incredible dining experience! We brought our teenage son and let him completely pick our menu. He chose several dishes he had never tasted before, and we were honestly blown away. He critiqued every single food item and was absolutely floored by how delicious everything was. Every bite was phenomenal! The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It’s not often you find a place that leaves the whole family talking about the food afterward. “Wow, the service was top tier! My husband and I were blown away by the warmth, hospitality, enthusiasm and experience shown by our server, Makiah. She gave us great recommendations for our apps and entrees. She paid special attention to my gluten free preference and made sure that I got exactly what I asked for. She spoke highly about her boss and colleagues. You can tell that she thoroughly enjoys working there. Our dining experience was pleasant all the way throughout. She even gave us a tour of the Blue Room after dinner. Very cool space! We definitely will be back soon. 💛”

“The Breakfast food was amazing. We ordered online and it was ready in 10 minutes. We ordered after 10:30 and they called to say the don’t do breakfast after 10:30 and they made it anyway since it was already paid for. Thank you for the delicious food!”

“We reserved the peacock room for one of my best friend's bridal brunch. Everything was so good! Food was delicious. Bottomless mimosas were perfect. But the thing I really need to give kudos to is our absolute rockstar of a waiter, Joey. He was phenomenal. It was busy, he had other tables and we were seated UPSTAIRS- his only party upstairs mind you, but he was so attentive, friendly, kind, and never missed a beat, even in the most busiest of times, he made us feel like we were the most important group there. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give him a shoutout for making our large group feel so special. We truly appreciate it. 🙏🏼”

“My husband and I went for jazz tonight!!! It was our first time and it was amazing! Our waitress Anna was very nice and engaged with us about what we like and suggested certain things. We tried many different drinks called Hot sauce, Chantilly, Expresso martini, dirty classic martini!! All are top notch drinks. The food was great!! We had the fried chicken and gravy, crawfish sauce croissants and fish tops with crawfish sauce on top of fries. We will be back!! This is a hidden gem. Don’t miss out!
