“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.“

They had great customer service, were friendly, and the food was amazing. They definitely had the package deal. “While I’ll aways recommend, tonight definitely was a damper on what used to hold a top reputation for years for us. We went for our 17th anniversary (just 2 people). And I cannot tell you how many times we kinda got lost in the system and the service was soooo slow! They comp a drink but to be honest- 2 hours for a meal for 2 people is just long. Chocolate dessert seemed to be shrinking in size as well. For a $200 meal for 2, I personally wouldn’t have wanted to repeat the night again. Steak was okay but chewy and my husband’s more expensive steak, lacked flavor. I love ya La Boca but tonight will probably make us wait a bit to return.“

I had to slow down! I had the pulled pork fajitas which were very very good. This included freshly made corn tortillas which were delicious. Portion was extremely generous and I could only finish half of it. Took the rest back to the hotel and had it the following day. The orange lime margarita was very good as well. Very tasty with just enough tequila in it. Very generous portions. Very delicious food. Great service. What more could you ask for? Definitely give them a try!“

“OMG!!! I came to this place on a whim this morning. This is the best food I have had from a cafe joint in a very long time. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a Salad and it was DIVINE! Well cooked, nicely seasoned. A pleasant Saturday surprised. I highly recommend this small cafe on St. Claude, located a block from Fredrick Douglass High School. Oh, and the vibes are heavenly.

“We had our holiday party here and it was absolutely amazing!! Starting with the frozen margaritas, through the chips, salsa, queso and table side fresh guacamole and onto the tacos, quesadillas and burritos the food was delicious and authentic. Of course a great dining experience includes both food and service and just like the food the service was top notch. The staff truly made it a wonderful experience. Before we left we were already planning a return visit!“
