“My husband and I have been wanting to try out SweetD’s for a long time; we had an opportunity to get lunch there today! We were not disappointed!!! The food is fantastic. I got a chicken salad croissant, tomato basil soup, and a Keto chocolate chip cookie. My husband got the broccoli salad. It was all delicious! FYI: The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the establishment is very clean! In my personal opinion, you won’t be disappointed on any level! We will definitely be going back!”

“I visited Marie's for the first time while in Natchitoches for the 2025 Folk Festival. It's not much to look at, but the burger I got was the best I've had in a long time! A hand-formed, well-seasoned patty with fresh toppings and a tasty bun made for great burger experience. I can't resist onion rings, so I ordered those, too. They were fried to non-greasy perfection: golden and crunchy. The folks who waited on me were great: friendly and helpful.I think this will become my #1 stop on future trips to Natchitoches.”

“My husband, son and I were on a road trip and needed to stop somewhere for lunch. We love Mexican food so we thought this would be a good choice. The food was unbelievably good. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was not at all what I expected. It was full of chicken, onions, bell peppers, and the tortilla was absolutely perfect. It was served with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Best quesadilla I've ever had. My husband and son felt the same about their meals. - they were outstanding. We will definitely plan a return visit.”

I left my hat on the beach outside of the restaurant over a month ago.. I live in Shreveport so I had to call. I spoke with Shawn and hid it in the closet for me and I picked it up today! What's not to love!”

I couldn’t choose between strawberry or cream cheese so I got 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 cream cheese. As for the cake itself, well I obviously couldn’t wait to take a picture before I had a piece. “I was looking forward to dining at Lakewood after not visiting for seven years. This time, I was excited to bring my family along as we were celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, with the best part being the time spent with my family rather than the meal itself. We arrived at 6:20 PM, but our food didn't arrive until 8:20 PM. The service was severely lacking, which was evident from the start. They were out of boiled shrimp, and later, there was a mix-up with our orders, further delaying our meal. By the time our food finally arrived, I requested it be packed in to-go boxes due to the extended wait. Our server, who seemed to be the only one working, handed us our food and apologized for the delay, adding that a tip had already been included. Unfortunately, the food itself was far from satisfactory. My party remarked that the fish tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave, and the shrimp was extremely unappetizing. The only positive feedback was that the steak was decent. To add to the disorganization, our server had to return to our table because she forgot what we had ordered and needed to make a ticketand stated an automatic gratuity is added. Due to the poor service, it's clear that we will not be returning. The overall experience was very disappointing.”
