“We come here every year for my birthday, and this visit was the best one yet! The waiter and (I believe) the manager were absolutely incredible. We had our son and our 10-month-old daughter with us. I I asked about ordering her some sweet potatoes. Since their butter contains honey I wanted to make sure it was not in the sweet potatoes. They aren’t made in-house, so they didn’t have the ingredient details right away, but they immediately went above and beyond to help. They even offered to run next door to the grocery store or prepare something special just for her so she could have something safe to eat. Their kindness and care meant so much to us…truly the best service ever! We’ll definitely keep coming back every year.“

My wife and I have been going here for our anniversary for the last 10 years, and multiple times in between, EVERY SINGLE TIME the food is excellent, the service is perfect, and the atmosphere is one that can’t be beat on the Northshore. “We tried this spot while in Covington and it was a pleasant surprise. The table chips and salsa were really good. The chips were thin and homemade which came to the table hot and the salsa was delicious. I got a shrimp taco salad and yuca fries but were fresh and tasty. I'll definitely come back. The hubs got birria tacos which he also liked.“

“rude staff and disappointed with food. walked in, was seated, no smile, asked for drink order and left. seated someone next to us and went to him 1st to take order, later found out he is a regular. took our order, ordered appetizer shrimp tempura ( 2 shrimp, 10 vegetables), should list as veg tempura, and it wasnt good. served sushi before appetizer and when i asked for appetizer, got an eye roll look. she bring it out ,there was no room on table so she set it down and dragged the other table by us, no smile or conversation. we has to ask for straws for our drinks, took forever. We finished eating and we're sitting ,waiting for our bill, but our waitress was at the front bar putting an order together, apparently for Uber and the other 2 waitresses were just sitting in the corner, one was talking on her phone. our waitress finally noticed so she sent the other waitress to come bring our bill and she went to the other guy 1st, so we had to wait even longer. If you don't want to work for a tip you don't get a tip“
