“Amazing. I have never had better. Chef Jeremy Langlois is a master. He elevates cajun/creole to a fine dining level while staying true to the traditions of the culture. By using the freshest ingrediants that I have ever experienced, he presents dishes that amaze the senses. Highly recommend both Houmas House restaurants. Will return again and again.”

“One of the best tours we had. The Houmas House is not only charming but it has a welcoming atmosphere. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and passionate about the entire history of the plantation manor. I would return to do the house tour again and allow more time to visit the museum as well.”

“I was at Dixie Cafe Oct 2 for lunch. Didn't like the Chicken and Andoulle Gumbo had all Andoulle in it. Dixie Cafe is a beautiful Cafe needs beater food.”

“On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.”

“Jambalaya, white beans, Cole slaw. The white beans were Great Northern beans and were pretty bland. Good cole slaw and very good chicken and sausage jambalaya. Order at counter and take a number. Was busy when I was there but the order came up quickly. Big open seating area not fancy but plenty of room for large parties and I ate alone at a small table for two. I noticed that they offered lunch specials.”

“I ordered 4 dz boiled crabs and 8 lbs of boiled shrimp for out of town visiting family members. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The #2 crabs were all full the shrimp were very very large. It was so yummy. This place has greatly improved. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!”

The Pina Colada tea with Caffeine level 3 has a great flavor and gave me the energy boost I needed to get through a hot day at an outdoor vendor event. To top it off, Zoe was sweet and gave top notch customer service!”
