Pastalaya was cold and the place smelled strongly of a chemical cleaner. Employees stayed in the back. They were out of several items at 5:30 dinner rush time. Place looks unkempt. Also pastalaya had one piece of chicken and way to much sausage. I probably won't go back as this isn't the first time this location has disappointed us.
Great food! Been picking up food here for years. The pork jambalaya and pork roast in roux gravy are both fantastic. We also love the white beans and potato salad. This is the only place I’ll order potato salad or jambalaya from. Plenty of meat in the jambalaya. Food is consistently great - like home cooked and. We usually call order in a day or two ahead. It’s always ready on time, no matter how big or small our order is.
I've been going to Pot and Paddle over at the Juban Mall since 2016. Ms. Hope and the rest of the folks are nice and fair. Love the shrimp stew Fridays and use to eat there twice a day before I moved to Omaha.
