“great place to stay. was our 2 Thanksgiving there. everyone is friendly and helpful. we were fishing on the dock and the guys helped me with getting a few fish out of the water.”

“Life is Good at The Ponderosa!Drove down from New Orleans with a large group this weekend. Cold beer, good drinks and the freshest oysters and seafood you can imagine. But what else would you expect when you're dockside at the marina.Freshly shucked oysters opened at the Oyster Bar, Grilled Oysters on the Half Shell, Fried Oysters to go with our Onion Rings, and fried Softshell Shrimp!But as good as the food was, the service was better: and the food Was Good! There were other large tables and plenty 2 and 4 tops, but the food and drinks flowed on and off our table. Looking forward to my next trip Down River to The Ponderosa...”
