“This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I've ever found in Louisiana. Why? Because it's not the usual Tex-Mex with stereotypical enchiladas and such. Instead, it's actual traditional Mexican food, most of which you probably never heard of, with the real spices. Of course, it has the boring, familiar stuff, too, but get the authentic food instead.”

“Not the prettiest place but the food is good and fresh!! The egg rolls are good and the rice was very tasty as well. Good selection. Wish there was a pot of hot tea because I enjoy hot tea with my Asian food. The people are nice but very loud and there is no buffer for the noise of them. Maybe some music to set a little more of an atmosphere and that’s about it!”

“Visited Big J’s with 9 people on a Saturday, the place was dead. Why? I couldn’t tell you. The customer service and bbq were beyond exceptional. The brisket and friend green beans are a must. “We came in with a group of 15 hungry Boy Scouts and 4 adults. The staff (including the owner) greeted us, got us seated, and quickly took our drink and pizza orders. Drinks were quickly served and the pizzas followed just as quickly. The whole time we were there (roughly an hour), there was a steady stream of carry-out customers, none of whom had to wait more than 5 minutes. The pizza was good, with generous portions of toppings. The next time we stay at nearby Avondale Scout Reservation or go zip lining at Magnolia Ridge Adventure Park, we'll definitely keep Café 94 in mind...”

“First time eating at this restaurant I was expecting to eat seafood, but when I saw the roast beef Poboy on the menu, there was no other choice. The roast beef was New Orleans debris style sandwich. It was off the hook. Tibo, I gave you an offer the hook rating on that sandwich. I said I had. I felt like I needed a shower after eating that thing man I hate gravy everywhere. No problem. Everything else we go to the chicken place better than the dog. Will we get shrimp and chicken there’s no no need to go back there again we have shrimp you got you got you got my business on that rose beef Poboy used to be.”

“This has always been my go to for general tso every other place I use panda Chinese as the top tier in comparison and it was the best I've ever had on a busy Friday night and their food is spot on no cutting corners. I love the amount of Szechuan pepper in it that's what really made it the best. That little extra heat. Not too much but made the whole meal to perfection. I never have any complaints of this restaurant and I absolutely adore the family who owns it. Keep up the great work and nothing really changes you can go everyday and get the same thing it will be the same everytime there's no overcooked noodle or rice no sauce that was different then before I don't know how the little extra Szechuan pepper was added but I'm here for it.”

“This place is a MUST for a Cajun food stop!I got the fish platter and a side of onion rings. Their steak fries are delicious & seasoned, the fish has a unique, more flaky batter, and the onion rings will make you slap your mama right there.
The seasoning on all is spot-on for Cajun food- VERY flavorful, and leaves a little kick in your mouth afterward.
Hubby got a cup of crawfish etoufee and loved it. I think we could’ve ordered anything and loved it.
Not a fancy restaurant, but perfect for family, casual date night, or a gathering of friends. They even have an outdoor porch eating area.
