This is the first time my husband and I have eaten in Eunice. We were passing through on a Saturday evening and wanted something that was outside of your typical chain restaurant. We were promptly greeted as soon as we walked in. Once seated , our waitress was very friendly and quick to wait on us. I ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced with good portions. We stopped here and did not regret it! It gives you a small town feel (because it's in a small town) with good friendly service. You will wait a bit for your food but it's worth the wait. Brings truth to good ol "home cookin!"
Great daily home cooked specials that will not disappoint. We came across this restaurant taking the back roads to NOLA and just so happened to return on the way back to Houston! On another note, a local elderly lady came in the restaurant selling bags of pecan pralines out of a card board box. We bought $10 dollars worth. After taking the taste test we bought $20 worth more!
