“Every December we have a social event at work. The lady over it always picks Windrush. I always order the fried Shrimp. They are delicious. But not today. I ordered the Mardi Gras Salad. Now be careful of the jalapeno on it. They are delicious and fresh. The entire salad was so fresh and the cranberry vinaigrette was out of this world. Worth the trip“

“Wonderful food and even better service! The two photos I took don’t do this place justice. We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu, then got to shop! Absolutely delicious and love the hometown, family-owned atmosphere. Definitely will make the 2-hour drive to eat here again!“

“We are repeat customers for a few years. THIS YEAR is our 1st to ORDER TURKEYS. We ordered 1 smoked & 1 roasted. Both were moist, delicious & well worth the price & worth our drive (40 min 1 way). Also this is supporting local 100%. Ms. Karen, Eric & Mrs Kay are the best cooking crew ever!“

“Very convenient for families to stops along the highway. Restrooms are clean, and well stocked. Gas is fairly price-per gallon, for the area. At this location is a convenient store, with a restaurant, and a casino. Casino is small and smells of smoke, also the only game you can play is 21 on slot machines . Restaurant has extremely good food, with decent prices. Shoutout to the hard working crew they all make you feel welcome, and truly believe in customer service . Convenient stores has a lot to offer with souvenirs, and well stocked snack items. Located inside the convenient store is a fried food station with gator on a stick amazing, and meat pies, crawfish pies, blackberry cobbler, boudin balls, green fried tomatoes, etc. This place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be adding it to my favorites on Google maps. If you ever visit Louisiana make sure you stop there and try the gator on a stick..“
