The young ladies who prepared my food were attentive, quick, and the food tasted great. I got a medium Italian. I had to change my order in the middle and it was no problem for the cashier. This was great because I had limited time to get my food and get back to work.
My girlfriend had the pleasure of trying Firehouse Subs and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! The sandwiches were simply outstanding, with an extensive selection of toppings and fresh ingredients. She especially loved the "Hook and Ladder" sandwich with its smoky turkey, honey ham, and melted provolone cheese. I stopped by the Gonzales LA location for Firehouse Subs on LA Highway 30 and Interstate 10 for lunch today. For me, the must have is the Spicy Cajun Chicken on wheat bread. The jalapeños are the best in this selection and the bread fresh. I've eaten In Covington, Baton Rouge, Prairieville, and here. Never been disappointed in this sandwich. They are busy and the service is great. A variety of age groups can be found here.
