Starbucks in Gonzales

“This is my favorite coffee shop by far! I love staff and service SO much, and I come here everyday. Most staff members know me by name now. This is why it pains me to write this, but I am disappointed. There is one employee named Sydney who ALWAYS messes up my order (the same one I get every single day) and then she always has an attitude about fixing her mistake. For example, I always get a flat lid on my VENTI drinks..and I ALWAYS say it at the speaker. I order my usual, flat lid and venti and I get a big lid in a tall cup? So I simply express that’s not what I ordered and that I needed the bigger size with a flat lid. After this, the lovely window lady tells Sydney the problem and Sydney chose to yell loud enough for me to hear her that “she needs to say that at the box” like excuse me? How unprofessional, wrong, and INCORRECT. Every other order taker is so lovely and even writes my name on the cup because they know my order so well. I expressed to Sydney that I DID state my entire order at the box and she ignored me. Her solution to making my drink the wrong size was to pour the smaller drink into a bigger cup and add ice with more cold foam. This is unacceptable..especially on a Monday morning at 7am. This is the second time Sydney has completely messed up my order and had an attitude about it, thus my review.“

“My wife, daughter and I stopped in on Easter Sunday, to grab some caffeine before strolling Tanger outlets next door. If only all cashiers/servers/baristas were as friendly as Gabby! She made our visit so enjoyable with her great personality, friendliness and smile. Service was fast, pastries fresh, and drinks were perfect. Store very clean and well kept.“
