“We happened to catch this place when they had a Second Line in the back. Amazing experience, but I have to say it was THE BEST MEAL I have EVER had!!! Had to be patient for them to get dinner out. One lady is cooking every plate with love. Have a drink and relax, I promise you it is worth it. I had the guava jerk chicken, my son had the burger (amazing!!!) and my wife had the curry shrimp. No lie, THE BEST I’ve ever had!!“

“Made this one of our stops while we were on vacation in New Orleans. Had a reservation for opening and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and the brussel sprouts opened our eyes! Imagine elotes from a corn man but brussel sprouts and even better. the drinks were fantastic as well. Finally for dessert we had the flan and holy cow. Tasted like butter...was magic. Would definitely recommend hitting this place up if you're in the area.“

They touched my inner Fat Isaland Girl today! Being married to Chef Myron means I know fantastic food......lemme tell ya.....Chef Myron could only sit back in his seat and shake his head!! We had jerk chicken w/sweet plantains, Ox Tails w/Trini Callaloo, Trini Macaroni Pie, served with steamed cabbage! Drinks.....red strip and a Island Paradise Drink......BEAUTIFUL AND SOOOO TASTY! “Incredible food, but the prices are high, and also higher than posted on their menu, about double. It cost as much to go to Addis across the street, so be ready for full service dining prices. The food is incredible though, if I could get a plate and a juice for around 20$ I'd eat there every day, but you're looking at 30-40$ for lunch.“

“We picked up food from here to go. FYI if you order the chicken it does come with sides… we ordered too much for two. As a person who can handle some spice, the jerk chicken was a bit spicy for me. A gradual growing spicey, so for that reason I preferred the curry chicken. Both chicken where very tender/juicy and fell right off the bone. I enjoyed the beans and rice, I’m not sure if it was a bit spicy or if it was still from the chicken but it was good. I do also recommend the collard greens.“

“For me, it's the authenticity. I really love this restaurant. The food is amazing, and the feels are definition definitely there. Give this place a try also in my book. It's worth it very much.

Vegetarian options: Calaloo, veggie stuffed roti, rice and peas, and the Ital plate are all vegetarian and very filling. The calaloo, though, is the best thing for me from any Jamaican restaurant. What can I say? I love greens. ??‍♀️“
