“Ordered take out. The plate lunch was grilled pork chop, mashed potatoes and green beans which were delicious. The service at the window was quick and the waitress was very nice.”
“Kind of out of the way but worth the drive. Don't be surprised if you have to wait in line for these great pizzas. But do be a little surprised when you get to the front and you have to make the pizza yourself. I guess there was a party or something going on when I was there because it was crazy busy. Good parking too.Kid-friendliness: Yeah they had kids here. I wouldn't say they were friendly. They didn't bite.”
“Reggie was a great person to conversate with. As owner of a local business in a rural town, he sure knows what he’s doing when it comes to serving outstanding food, great service, and good ambiance. With their wide selection of alcoholic beverages and seasonal specialties, they totally out do what a great restaurant is. Definitely coming back & bringing everyone :) PS get a burger on toast or sourdough, either way, ITS SO GOOD.”
“I LOVE this place. The food was so amazingly delicious. They have fantastic portion sizes and are very inexpensive. Ms. Sharon is incredibly friendly and sweet. Everything about this place has me wishing I lived around here. Do not pass up the opportunity to go here, y'all. From now on, this is my go to place when passing through.”
“I visited The Vanilla Bean after attending an event in Downtown Crowley. I really enjoyed my experience. Everyone there was friendly and the coffee was amazing! I love the atmosphere while getting a little work done. I definitely recommend the Vanilla Bean to everyone visting Crowley.”
“firstly, this shop is just darling inside. the tables and chairs are so pretty. now the pastries..... they all look beautiful but the Chantilly mini bunt cake was not only beautiful, it tasted divine.”
“Great times at this local gem! The seafood is amazing, the Saturday night atmosphere was unparalleled with a local band. Love the dancing and waltzing going on! Just cool!”
“The best boudin in this city. Mostly consistent in seasoning and flavor, although sometimes the mild has a bit more kick than expected bc it is usually very (almost too)mild. They aren't open on Sundays, and don't pull up on the driveway almost at closing time. They will turn you away after you've waited in line. Ms. Amelia always treats you like you're their best customer and she's your biggest fan. Love their fried fish and hush puppies, too, but I often don't have time to wait for them as they are made to order, fresh.Parking: Tiny lot, drive thru patrons line up through it at times when busy. Being pulled around to wait for an order in drive thru means reentering the one way of traffic, making a u-turn (which are technically illegal in Louisiana, and circling back through the lot/drive thru. Call ahead if you can to avoid this, or do what we do...just order the boudin!”
“This place is a small hometown hangout. Everyone was friendly, courteous, n fun to be around. It's not the biggest place ive been in but it's definitely a place I'd like to go to Everytime I'm in town. Met a lot of nice people n the Soundsystem the bar has for the bands is too notch. I went to see the band Rehab n Spank the Monkey who sounded great n put on a good show. It wasn't overcrowded which I thought was a plus but I'm sure the owners would have like to had a full house. It was a very intimate great place to see two bands I listen to on a daily basis. I have to give the owner n his wife n family who all work the place n run it well. I got to meet a lot of fantastic people n even exchanged numbers with them to keep in touch. Got invited back by several patrons of the place. If your there get in touch with tattoo Nick who owns a shop just a couple places down. He's a true artist from what I saw of his living canvases at the place. The food was excellent n I even met the cook. The food was delicious n prices were great too!Leesville Keith”
“This is the best not much more to say. Bull you know what.. there's alot to say first off the ladies are so sweet an kind an they put their time in on them treats...I am 36 an I been coast to coast a couple times an have never found a better donut the way tha suger flakes off on everything so don't try to say you didn't stop at Ruddocks .A Cajun can spot that white box from a few miles away Lol thank you ladies an gents for keeping ruddocks going I will never eat another donut if yal ever close so please don't”
“I've loved going get something to eat there ever since I was a kid. Especially on Wednesday or Saturday for their BBQ plate lunch I highly recommend the pork stake!!!!”
“They are quick and the food is fresh. Excellent chicken strips. I do recommend using cash as they charge a fee, but the fee is outrageous (like 15-20%) and the lady was very nice, but she didn't seem to understand the amount she was charging and couldn't fix it. So I just make sure I have cash.”
“My favorite is their mushrooms. Best I have ever eaten! All their food is good, and service impeccable. Tuesdays are half price for seniors so I try to go then. No matter when you go, food is terrific. My only complaint, it's time to remodel, especially the booths. Need more padding on seats.”
“Aaaaawwwwwweeeeee MANNNN N,The pies are a treat. They also serve food. I saw a man with a fish plate. The fish looked good. I like coconut ? also the fruit and cream cheese. ? ?”
“Great food, great people, fast, friendly, and always fresh, very affordable. Very family oriented. We love us some Gatti's. Always a great time. Gatti's is the place to be!”
“This place is awesome. Located in the middle of Mowata, Mo' Crawfish is as legit as they come. I have been to the Eunice area a few times for work over the last year or so. I aksed some of the locals for recommendations and they sent me here. Damn, they were right. The crawfish here both times I went were great. Plump, juicy, and spicy. They also have some super cool trays that have a little slider for your shell debris. All crawfish restaurants should adopt these trays. In addition to crawfish, you can get other boiled items as well as other Cajun fare. The gumbo comes with potato salad and is as good as any restaurant gumbo I have ever had. The waitstaff is young and super friendly. We received our food quickly and never had to beg for drink refills, etc. I highly recommend this place. It is even worth a trip to Mowata from wherever you are. Forget the touristy places, get yourself here.”
“Food is delicious every time we go. We live in Eunice and the restaurants here just aren’t that good so Crowley is worth the drive. We haven’t had anything that we didn’t like. From appetizers to pizza to pasta, all delicious. Restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly.”
“The only health focused place to eat in Crowley. If you can’t find something you like here then you aren’t trying! There is something for everybody if you are serious about making nutrition a part of their lifestyle and don’t have the time to make a meal or if want a healthy “cheat meal”. My favorite is the Blueberry Cheesecake Chocolate Peanut Butter smoothie.”
“The ladies are always nice and kind. They will even suggest a drink for you if you new to daiquiris. You can even get drinks without alcohol. Always willing to customized a drink for you or let you add a few extra ingredients to your liking. Thanks! :) Also their loyalty card is awesome!”
“It's got a small town bar feel to it. Nice bartender. Good dj on the nights there is one. It has 2 Pool tables. Poker machines. And it's always been clean everytime I've been.”
“The reason for going here is the Hot Tamales and they are as good as ever in my opinion. They are addictive. I have to get two dozen when I go. Only one problem with this business. They are only open for 4 hours a day. They close at 2:00 pm!!! What the heck is that about? Who does that? If you live in Crowley, you better remember when it closes. If you live out of town, YOU BETTER DAMN WELL REMEMBER WHEN THEY CLOSE. All I can say is Great Food, Terrible Hours.”
“I don't think that I would ever give Dairy Queen a bad review. Everything is pretty typical of a fast food place, but that ice cream will always take up the slack! You just can't beat their dip cones, anywhere! Love'em!! PS. The dining room was freezing. I couldn't eat my ice cream inside!!”
“The food is excellent. The service time has been cut down tremendously so there is very little wait for your meal. And of course, the staff is first class! They are like none around this area. It is a quiet place where one can go to enjoy a phenomenal steak or seafood in a quiet atmosphere or you can bring family and enjoy a fun filled safe night of dining and friends”
“We had been traveling and wanted a salad and a Frosty. :) The salad was fresh and tasted great!! Too full for the orange (dreamsicle) frosty they've been advertising that sounded so good. So... I don't know how good the frosty is..but the salads were great.”
“Located at exit 80 north of Interstate 10, you'll find this place. Has Gas and Diesel Pumps, Covent Store, Casino, and the Rice Palace Restaurant. Friendly Staff, Fast Service and Food Prepared Fresh to Order. We had the seafood platter, along with fresh fried pickles and crabcake on crawfish estufea. The seafood player also came with a cup of crawfish Gumbo and one side. It's definitely worth the stop.”
“Fezzos used to be my go to when we were in the Crowley area. We have been going there for years. In the last few years it has gone downhill. They used to have chocolate cake as a dessert but removed it from the menu. Next for the chopping block was my go to of shrimp and okra gumbo. It was delicious but perhaps not enough people ordered it because it was also removed from the menu. The festivals used to come with a side of gumbo but now they do not and a cup of gumbo with the festival is extra. The gumbo is heavy on the roux. I usually avoid Fezzos now unless another person I’m with really wants to eat there. I went a few weeks ago and had the crab cakes with baked potato. The crab cakes were delicious. When I asked for a to go box for my potato and all the toppings, the waitress brought a tiny box so I had to ask her for another box so everything would fit. Service is very mediocre. There are better places to eat.”
“Driving from out of town from Baton Rouge to Houston and wanting something relatively healthy. Came across Zeus and very happy we chose here. We ordered our food to go and everything was fresh, flavorful and filling. The hummus was IMMACULATE! I only have a picture of my food as everyone wolfed theirs down immediately once driving. My only qualm was not having staff up front to greet customers - which is quite the easy fix. The restaurant was not very busy and I was waiting for a few minutes then had to walk to the back to locate someone.Staff were very friendly and accommodating once up front. Shout to the owner Yaser for the hospitality! Turns out there are 17 Zeus locations and we will definitely be back to try other dishes!”
“I had a blast at this place! I was there for the Baret Fritz Band! Very casual...very low key! Loved the old style bar and big mirrors! Welcoming owner and very attentive staff! Drinks was super cold and the music was hot Baby! Can't wait to go back!”
