Not sure how this place has a 3.3, top tier chicken plus red beans
I had an appetizer anda drink while waiting on my flight. My old fashioned was not great. It was heavy on alcohol and proportions were generally off. It didn't have a top shelf cherry but at least a step up from the bright red maraschino. The boudin egg rolls were actually pretty good. The boudin was mild but that probably caters to the broader audience. The dip was tasty and had a kick. It did however over power the egg roll but a good dish overall.

Bar Sazerac offers decent food and drinks, with standouts being the Mimosa, Old Fashioned, and Royal Street Fizz. Seating is comfortable and the ambiance is cool. Service is generally good, although it can be slow when not at the bar, especially during busy times. The wings are tasty, but presentation remains simple with a plastic container. Customers enjoy the large portions of red beans and rice, which are very tasty, and appreciate the crispy chicken that can be seasoned to taste. The bar staff, including the bartender, are attentive, friendly, and provide excellent customer service, making it a good place to spend a few hours waiting for a flight. The boudin egg rolls offer a different choice, and the overall experience is positive despite the slow service at times. Denise, working solo, was praised for her hard work and friendly attitude, quickly attending to customers even during storm delays. Many visitors find the restaurant a perfect stop before a flight, especially enjoying the red beans and chicken. However, some items like the gumbo are considered just okay, and specialty drinks such as the Sazerac can be overpriced and not worth the cost. Despite occasional slow service, guests generally find the staff friendly and attentive, making it a welcoming spot in the airport.
