Stopped by here on our flight back home and so glad we did. The grill was broken so they were only offering fried dishes or their signature dishes. We ordered their fried fish sandwich and the fried chicken/red beans and rice plate. The chicken was just one piece but it was a breast piece with no bone in it so it was equivalent to a leg and thigh piece. Fried and seasoned to perfection. Just like the other guy, I wish I had read the reviews first. Anyways, here we go. When we ordered they had ran out of fries (which is the real reason why we selected this place) and instead offered a side sorry side salad (the tomatoes were definitely questionable with age spots on a couple of them.) And only one size drinks were available if you didn't get bottled soda which is only ten cents difference. At least, the bottled soda isn't watered-down.And as far as the taste...read full review

Had their signature fried chicken/red beans and rice and that was one of the tastiest dishes we had in Nola.Also had the fried fish sandwich on soft bun with arugula, red onions and tomatoes with tartar spread. Also very tasty.Service was friendly but it takes some time to make it so would not recommend if you have only 30 min. between flights. But everything comes out piping hot and fresh. Hands down best meal we've ever had at a US airport.
