“My family and I were visiting from Los Angeles, California, and we were recommended by a hotel staff member to visit the Jamaican Home style Grill and we took her advice and we were not disappointed.

The food is definitely Authentic, has great flavor and very tasty 😋. We were very satisfied with the serving amount, it was plenty, our bellies were satisfied, it was worth the price. “We were over the top with the entire meal. We started with the sampler appetizer and it was amazing. I had spaghetti and meatballs with the Italian house salad and my fiance had the meatball poboy. Everything was amazing and so delicious and the service was excellent. The last time we got them they were raw tortillas with meet inside and some sauce on top. There weren't placed in an oven and covered with sauce and cheese like they use to be. “My only regret is not finding this spot sooner! I'm in town a few times a month and just happened to drive by and stop today. First off the waitress (Mrs. Lisa) was amazing! Super friendly and sweet! drink never ran out before I had another sitting beside it. I ordered the fried craw claws and the swamp platter. It was all cooked fresh and came out very quick. Seasoning was on point! very large portions (no chance you're leaving hungry) This is the first restaurant in the area I give a 10 out of 10. let's face it most NOLA restaurants rush food in and out and season just enough to get by because of the tourists! They have a great atmosphere and the staff are always so polite and efficient, especially the owners! Their pizzas are top tier and they use only the best and freshest ingredients. Ordered Generals Chicken off Chef’s Specials. Added pork egg roll.
Good sized portion / more than I expected.
Chicken and sauce were good / flavorful.
Nothing much in the way of veggies (eg just a few small onions). White rice was middle of the road / good. Egg roll was hot, and same as you’ll find from freezer section in big-box store.
Ordering by phone was easy and friendly.
Food was ready earlier than advised (+). Good all around ordering, pick-up experience.
Pricing was as you’d expect.
Solid offering and would do again when back in area.

“I mean it's the airport vino volo so you kind of know what to expect. The little market next store typically sells central grocery muffulettas but the fridge was broken and so was my heart. Anyway the muff at vino volo was good and the highlight was the nice service staff. They gotta fix that fridge next door.“
