“We went in Saturday without a reservation and lucked out with the last table available. I love the atmosphere. I appreciate the good wine choices and had a great glass of Malbec. Our entrees were excellent. We had pizza and the special of the night. Service was excellent and we will certainly be back!
Reminder all bread is made in-house and to die for!
Vegetarian options: I am not a Vegetarian but try to have two - three plus days of only veggies per week. There are plenty of pasta and vegi options or pizza or calzones and ingredients are of high quality!“

“What an amazing place to eat, relax and chill. The food and drinks were amazing. The bartender was sweet and enjoyable. She made our experience great. Didn't catch her name but she had short bangs and wavy hair. Fun time. Can't wait to go back.“

“Freakin’ unbelievable. Crab cakes smothered with crawfish étouffée, Pirogue Party shrimp Po-boy (covered in Maw’s crawfish étouffée). Better be hungry because these ol’ boys don’t play!! And I love to eat but almost couldn’t clean my plates.“

“We went to Mel’s on Johnston St. this past Saturday. It was busier than usual but there was a visiting football team and their supporters in town. The crowd was loud, but everyone seemed happy. The food came out hot and was very fast! The food and the service was excellent! We love Mel’s and had another great experience!“

“I used to live in Lafayette and came here almost daily. It’s still hands down my favorite coffee shop and I can’t find a place like it here in Austin. The atmosphere is so inviting and cozy and my iced caramel latte was on point every. single. time. Perfect. I don’t know if he still works there but Ian was the man! He knows so much about coffee and how to brew it just right! I also enjoyed the chef’s daily creations. Thank you for giving me the best office I’ve ever had ? Much love to you guys ❤️“

“Same amazing deliciousness as the food truck and first location. Absolutely love this place. Maybe the most beautiful cypress bar I've ever seen. This place never disappoints. Fresh ingredients and lots of delicious smoked meats. Nice to have a TS location where we can sit down and dine inside on rainy days!“

“I went there to listen to music. To my surprise, it was a college kids bar. It seemed lively, for sure, and crowded. Nice hangout but not what I was looking for. The music seemed to be very good, but I haven't listened to that genre before, so I left after one beer. Wished that I was young again, lol.“

“The girl working behind the counter is SO SWEET! She was alone and it was kinda busy, but she was so polite and treated everyone with such kindness. The tea tasted delicious, as usual. I drove in from Lake Charles for this. PLEASE open a shop in lake Charles ?“

“I've been here a handful of times and the service here never disappoints. Tonight was a surprise with live music and a relaxing atmosphere. This is a great place for date nights. Especially if you want a nice place for drinks and pizza. The appetizers and food is really good too. If you want pizza I highly recommend here. Especially if you want cauliflower crust pizza. Sooooo good!?“
“So glad to see how well this lovely little gem of a location is being managed. Hadnt been here in almost 12 years. Service was great atmospher was comfortable drinks were priced well and the place was nice and clean. Absolutely reccomend this location for a relaxing spot near downtown lafayette. Plan on visiting more in the future.“
