“Enjoyed a fantastic Lunch celebrating my birthday with my family. We had The Blackened Cod and The Shrimp and Steak Kabobs. We didn't even need knives for the fish. The Steak was cooked to perfection. Our Server Devan Saia was extremely professional and attentive. The experience was superb all tied together with amazing Bread Pudding for dessert!!!“

“Just passing through Madisonville, staying at the Fairview Riverside State Park, and we decided to just eat out. So many awesome restaurants around here, but we had a hankering for Thai the moment we saw this restaurant just down the road from the park.What an excellent choice! The food was very tasty! We had the curry fish and the Pad Thai. I'd highly recommend both of them. My only criticism would be that there weren't many shrimp in the Pad Thai (5) and they were pretty small. Aside from that, we'd absolutely recommend this place and would eat there again if we are in the area.I did find it difficult to find a good, updated version of the menu online before ordering, so I'm going to upload one here. “We happened upon this diner right at 10:30 so lunch was available as well as the all day breakfast. My husband got the roast beef poboy and I got the goolosh off the breakfast menu, with a small taste of the red beans which was the special. Food was great, but even better was the service. Small relaxed interior and was greeted by 3 employees when we arrived. Server was friendly and owner came by to chat and give recommendations. If I lived close, I imagine I’d be a regular and they would end up my friends :).“

“I have tasted my fair share of pizzas. However, I ordered a small combo pizza and a Turkish salad last night while staying in Abita Springs! ! I ate two small pieces and I was full! The crust and toppings were plentiful and amazingly delicious! I just finished the rest tonight! If anyone is visiting Abita Springs, Louisiana, you HAVE to try their pizza! I am certain everything on the menu is delicious as well!“

Lots of choices for seating, very inviting. Came after lunch rush, was slightly busy. Very friendly service.
Warm bean dip was delicious, chips were also warmed. A plus for me.
Salsa was spicy but not too much.
I ordered the Pastor Bowl. Chicken was marinated and grilled, pickled onions, rice, a thinly sliced avocado with grilled pineapple on top. Laid on a bed of spinach. Garnished with cilantro. Very tasty.
Sweet tea rounded out my meal, done right. Yum“

“We come here every year for my birthday, and this visit was the best one yet! The waiter and (I believe) the manager were absolutely incredible. We had our son and our 10-month-old daughter with us. I I asked about ordering her some sweet potatoes. Since their butter contains honey I wanted to make sure it was not in the sweet potatoes. They aren’t made in-house, so they didn’t have the ingredient details right away, but they immediately went above and beyond to help. They even offered to run next door to the grocery store or prepare something special just for her so she could have something safe to eat. Their kindness and care meant so much to us…truly the best service ever! We’ll definitely keep coming back every year.“

My wife and I have been going here for our anniversary for the last 10 years, and multiple times in between, EVERY SINGLE TIME the food is excellent, the service is perfect, and the atmosphere is one that can’t be beat on the Northshore.
