“We recently came for dinner, excited to try a new spot close to home. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several areas, though we truly believe this place has potential if some key improvements are made. First, the service was lacking—wait times was a little excessive (there were 3 tables it shouldn’t take 15 minutes to get drinks), our table wasn’t given silverware or plates for our appetizer until we asked, condiments weren’t stocked, and refills were nonexistent. Went to grab my own ketchup since I didn’t get my sauces I ordered and couldn’t get a hold of a server… every bottle was empty. There was no check in until after the whole table had already boxed their food themselves. For the price point of the menu, we expected better service from the staff and a more consistent execution from the kitchen. A bit more attentiveness from the staff would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience. As for the food, there were some hits and misses. The Creole Bleu fries were great, creating high expectations for the entrees to come. My seafood platter was decent—the fish and shrimp were cooked well—but the hush puppies were cold, onion rings were overly greasy and difficult to eat. My dad’s steak was ordered medium-rare but arrived cold and blue-rare, which was disappointing. Additionally, the pasta dishes at our table were overly watery, which took away from the flavors we were expecting. We truly want to see this restaurant succeed because it’s in a great location and has promise. With some attention to detail in service and consistency in food preparation, this could become a go-to spot for locals. We hope to give it another try in the future and see improvements!“

“Bought two sacks for Easter Sunday. First the sacks were over 40 lbs each which not something you find with other places. Next the size of these mini lobsters were huge. Lastly they were the cleanest I have ever gotten or seen. Will be doing business with Johnny’s again.“

“My granddaughter bought me there one Sunday night,it was packed so there was know where for me to sit and I am handicap so we got some food and we left but this lady can’t out and ask was we looking for somewhere to sit I said yes,she told us to wait she made a call and then we were seated,we had wonderful time and the food was delicious. I found out the lady name was Mrs.Helen-Boss Lady“

“Alright Hina Hut!! We ordered sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. The sweet and sour sauce is awesome! There have been some positive changes since we last ordered from Hina Hut! Chicken was great! They are boiling seafood now. Crawfish, sausage and corn were seasoned well! We had a pick up order and then bought some of the boiled stuff too!“

“I love the mei fun, ( noodles) scallops, & fried chicken wings, there are many other meals I really like, I prefer noodles, over rice.you choose! The people are friendly & aim to satisfy their customers. Before Covid you could dine in, Since Covid it is TakeOut only . I tried House Mei Fun ( No Salt W/ shrimps & Pork) ❤️ & a PauPau platter.
