“While the food is usually good (most of the time soggy if you’re ordering from the drive thru) don’t ever expect to get an extra sauce. It seems every time I go they never give me the extra sauces I pay for. Canes is really nothing without their sauce which is why it’s so important to receive it. It’s annoying because not only am I paying almost an extra dollar for 2, but it seems more common to not receive a sauce than to get one. Most of the employees are really nice but there’s the handful that have an attitude or don’t say one word to you. This really is one of the better Canes, but I just wish it was guaranteed I get my extra sauce.“

“I met my family for lunch today after I had gotten off of work early. The last time I had food at this location (drive thru), there was an issue with it. I waited a while until I returned. The same issue happened again today. The manager, Shawn, immediately came to apologize to me at the table. He had fresh food come out to me super quick. He also returned to check on us, gave us a gift card, and said that he hoped we would return to give this location another chance. A bad situation that was turned into a positive one.. thanks to Shawn for effectively displaying great service recovery! I will definitely be returning!“

“I’ve been a Taco Bell die hard ever since my mom ate Taco Bell when I was in her womb. I was literally born with Taco Bell addiction. This is the only place I found to be consistently better with ingredients and portions across-the-board when compared to price. Roughly half the time I eat anywhere else I usually wind up leaving thinking “man, I should’ve just got Taco Bell because I’d be the same level of full for way less money”. Out of the 10 times or so that I’ve eaten here, I’ve never once left with that feeling. Bravo El Pollo Loco, bravo.“

Ordered the fries, took about 4-5 minutes since they started cooking a fresh batch, no problem. They were professional and courteous. Once I tasted the fries, I was upset that I didn't order the large size. Crispy, hot, and they didn't have that greasy, artificial after taste. I can only imagine how the steak burgers taste.

“Lemme tell ya…. 5 stars all day. Maddy makes this restaurant worth it. I keep ordering through the mobile app and have had a few issues with it here and there. She took time out (when it wasn’t busy) to walk me through a few of the issues and how to avoid them. She is kind and has an obvious wish to make sure her clients leave happy. If she isn’t running the place and teaching customer service 101 to your team, I’d highly advise you giving her a position that goes to all locations and giving them a course. Honestly, id go to Ruth’s Chris on a weekly basis if she was our waiter. Keep her, she’s a good one.“

I was the only one in the restaurant and because my daughter is very busy doesn't communicate well. I don't bring her in a lot of places But because it was empty I thought It would be ok..
Everyone Was nice and I let the front desk Workers know that she doesn't sit still very much. And then I would put her in the corner where she wouldn't bother anyone...
Someone They're with the ability to Control the noise (radio) I can only assume had some kind of knowledge of children that are not "normal"..
Someone turned the radio down and My daughter seemed to settle a bit more..

If you make someone smile or laugh within seconds of meeting them it's an amazing thing. The weight of the world or any metaphorical expression that would apply here is gone...their worries, doubts, rather or not she'll get the rose tonight in the final episode show of whatever you like to watch I don't know I like documentaries but to each their own I say, if they forgot to turn off etc.....in that briefest of moments it feels like you're not at "work" you know you're at the game with guys realizing the S for LSU was out of place in your shirts off squad ritual or a bon fire with all the familiar faces through the years....it's a form of feeling free that's immeasurable & the beauty of it all is, it's contagious. So to all McDonalds employees that I won't have the opportunity to make lol out loud I'm talking embarrassingly loud you would probably snort involuntarily so maybe it's for the best cause you'll never live that inside work joke I tell you & if I was a regular getting to meet a new cashier everyday....the kiosk doesn't have a sense of humor I've tried it's a hard nut to crack. (If you're still here yes he said that and yes it's ok to be laughing. Since we are slowly losing the opportunity of face to face interactions with each other & for someone like myself who has issues with PTSD, depression it's those moments that provides a true natural remedy for when we are down & force ourselves to be sociable where we all act "fine" but are screaming inside...getting someone to laugh or smile is when I feel free. So I thought why not get as many to laugh as I can in one shot. If you laughed or came close that counts too hit that thumbs up....take care.)“

Came on recommendation from two different locals who said this was the best restaurant in Lafayette. We were not disappointed. Reservations were needed, but the hostess was able to accommodate us by the kitchen. It worked out GREAT. Was able to see the chef, Sullivan, and his crew perform their magic on each of the dishes. Every member of the staff was very friendly - from the hostess, servers, chef, our waiter Zach, and the general manager Aaron. Just get two orders of the Roasted Oysters to start. Trust me on this one. Even the Mac and Cheese was delicious! The creme brulee was delectably perfect. Get it! If cocktails are your jam, you won't be disappointed with the selection. My only gripe was that it was very loud on a Saturday at 7 PM. Felt like it was a night club. Made conversation challenging at times. If you need to change diapers, the unisex bathrooms will have accommodations for your baby. A thoughtful touch. Will definitely return if I ever come back to Lafayette.“
