“My husband and I rarely get a date night and tonight, we decided to go to outback this time. Let me say that we had the best experience. Our little waitress, Mattie, was the quickest and the sweetest waitress that we've had in a very long time from any restaurant in town. Our food was cooked to perfection. Our steak was juicy, cooked just right and my husband's coconut shrimp were huge and so good. If I was promised this service and could get Mattie every time, we'd go more often.“

“My wife and I were so pleased to see the thoughtful design of Enoch's a Cafe, the best coffee shop in the Garden District! Usually we worry about how well a wheelchair can get in, especially when the building used to be someone's house a long time ago. Enoch's a Cafe has a solid concrete pad for accessible parking, with a smooth surface leading up to a gently sloped ramp. And the interior is great too--you can wheel right up to the cutout below the register! But enough about the building, let's talk about the people and the food and drinks. Everyone there was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help us. And her chicken salad wrap, my ice cream, and her iced tea all passed with flying colors. (And no, that's not a joke about the Superman ice cream. They call it something else here.) I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast next!“

“My husband and I had a late lunch here today. The service from MaraBel (sp?) was top notch and the food was incredible. We ordered the Athena plate for two to share. It came with beef chicken and lamb- grape leaves and spinach pie (spanakopita?) a side of rice with hummus. We started with the baba ganoush and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. But decided after such a long time away we would try again..And I am so glad we did..Dennis and his trainee Essence were so kind and respectful!! The food was great!! Service great!! “We came here for lunch and was seated immediately. We ordered a drink and appetizer at the same time. When the appetizer came out we then put in our entree order. I've learned that if you put your entree order in too close to your appetizer order it all comes out at the same time. This day we had a traditional cheeseburger cook medium. It came out hot juicy and cooked to perfection. It was delicious. I was dining with my mother-in-law and we shared the cheeseburger and the fries. For the appetizer we got the spicy chicken bites which I had planned to bring the rest home to my daughter but I forgot them on the table. Bummer. With one appetizer and a cheeseburger entree and two drinks the total was about $27. Not too bad imo. We were very busy and not alot of time but wanted to sit for lunch instead of driving through somewhere. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a Fave, too but I love a good juicy cheeseburger once in a while.“
